Does your baby like to be swaddled? Did your baby like to be swaddled at first and now hates it?

Jacob loved to be swaddled for about 2 weeks then everytime I would swaddled he would scream and cry until he got his handd free so now I don't even try to swaddled him.

Nick hates it. He likes to have his arms and legs free to kick around.

Sofia loves it if she is tired....she sleeps swaddled every night. When she is really crabby and tired, we swaddle her to calm her down. If she isn't swaddled, she will usually wake herself up by her flailing arms....

Ditto to this! Cole went through a few weeks of no swaddling because he seemed to hate it but now he loves it again and sleeps better when swaddled.

He never liked his arms swaddled but after about 3-4 weeks he didn't like his legs swaddled either! So we have given it up. He likes to move!

Cody loves to be swaddled but with his arms out. He sleeps a lot better when he is swaddled.

For the first month, we swaddled Abby every night. But then I don't know why, but we just stopped. Now I only swaddle her when she's really upset to help calm her.

Every night. She only wakes up once a night so it will be weeks before we stop swaddling

Same here for Kira. She loves being swaddled but gets her arms out almost immediately.

For afternoon naps, I sometimes use the Miracle Blanket if she's fussy and that generally gets her to sleep -- though one time I did find her in the pack and play, sound asleep, tightly swaddled....except for one leg that she'd managed to somehow wiggle free.

Jax likes to be swaddled for bedtime and generally likes to be covered for naps and when he in the carseat. It seems like he just doesn't like being exposed when he sleeps.

at the hospital they tried teaching us to swaddle. hubby got the hang of it and lillian seemed really content. but i couldnt get the hang of it, it just felt unsafe. never occured to me to try those blankets. so, we havent swaddled since 3 days old. she sleeps freely with her arms above her head. when she gets startled, her arms jump up a bit, but she'll sleep right through it. so cute! <3
