I have a carrier that I bought when Jackson was a baby and I have tried it several times with Jacob. He will stay in it for about 5 minutes then he starts screaming and crying wanting out. I have considered buying a different kind but I'm just not sure if he will like it or not so I'm afraid that I will be wasting my money.

Nick loves the SleepyTime wrap. He'll fall asleep almost as soon as I put him in it. I only use it when we are out for a long time though.

Cole loves the Moby. We just started using the 2 month+ position and he really likes looking around. We have an ergo too but it's just too hot for the newborn insert right now so we'll re-introduce that at 3-4 months.

JR loves our Moby Wrap! If he's having a fussy time (not very often) it's an instant sleeping pill. I use it when we're out most of the time or during our walks. It makes life easy since I chose not to use the infant car seat (he has a convertable car seat like his sister).

Abby used to like being in the Boba wrap, but it's been a hot minute since we've put her in it. I wonder if she'll still like it! lol

She likes the k'tan okay, but it's not my favorite position right now. I really like my ringsling, I can do a vertical hold and cinch it really tight and high the way I like it. She sometimes squirms when I put her in, but she falls right asleep while I'm walking. She doesn't like me sitting still when she's in it, though, she'll cry. But she loves the movement. I use it if I don't want to lug the carseat, I pop her in it to walk from here to there.

In a couple months I'll start using my mei tai.... I always loved that one, used it a LONG time with Kate!

Kira seems to really like the Ergo as long as I get her legs into it properly (I'm still using the newborn insert and her legs are a little too long for it, but not long enough to wrap around me without the insert). Sometimes she fusses when I first put her in, but she's usually asleep within a couple of minutes.

Livi loves our babyhawk, she falls asleep so easily in it, but only if we are standing, she doesnt like being in it if i sit down.

Charlie loved our babyhawk too.

Archer doesn't like it at all. But he doesn't like anything that feels tight or constricting on him. He never liked swaddling. He doesn't like straps or belts.

Most of the time. There are times when he cries/fusses but usually he will cry even when I take him out because it's just a fussy time for him.

Bryson loves to be worn.
he likes the Ring sling, Baby Ktan & even the cheap seven slings i got for only the cost of shipping.
I put him in and can get 1-3 hours nap out of him.

We don't have one. But I want one! What's a good brand/type for a first time user? I've tried to research, but I don't know the lingo, so it's a little confusing for me.
