If your LO was spitter-upper, is it improving the older that baby gets? Have you done anything to try and reduce/prevent the spit-up?




Thankfully Jacob has never really spit up much. He will have the occasional spit up when he burps but it has never been a problem.

Cole used to spit up every time he ate, and not just a little. It has tapered down some. He still spits up, but about half the time now. He almost always spits up a little during tummy time, which the pedi says is common.

Lydia is very spituppy she spits up all the time. and about once a week she will projectile vomit all over. I mentioned it to the Doc and he didn't seem concerned. and she is already on medication for reflux. so I guess I will just keep cleaning it up and not worrying. DS spit up all the time too. but only really vomited if he was allergic to something after he started eating cereals.

my babes always gives a little smirk, and i think she's smiling at me. next thing i know, spit up everywhere! we go through a few outfits a day due to spit up. and when i say we, i include myself. i don't particularily like walking around town with upchuck and smell of sour milk on my shoulder (its happened more than once ) so i always have extra clothing for the both of us!

JR has his times where he's quite spitty (eating too much too fast) and during burping but it's not enough for the doc to put him on meds (he has some of the symptoms of reflux but not bothered by it). We think he's just a happy spitter!
