This showed up on my facebook news feed just a few minutes ago:

Alone Vs. Lonely

Normally, I don't read anything on a childfree site because, well, why would I, but a lot of my friends who commented on the FB post called it pitiful and called the girl bitter and sad. Probably against my better judgement, I read it, but I found nothing bitter or pitiful about that post.

Maybe I'm reading over something that they did?

Agreed as well. Even with a child, I'm an introvert and need a little alone time every day (even if it's just 5 minutes in the bathroom ). Nothing pitiful at all about that article!

Nothing pitiful. Hell, she's 18. It's a good time for her to enjoy alone time.

I don't find anything pitiful or bitter. I actually found her to be pretty good at not saying anything against anyone. She was simply explaining why she liked her lifestyle.

Hee, we're apparently too boring to stir up -- we all agree!

That was something I asked for an opinion on as well because, like this article, it showed up on my news feed. Won't ask again.

I see that you're new to JM. Maybe you don't know how it works here. I'm not sure why you posted this in this playgroup? I checked out your recent posts and it seems you've posted on a bunch of different forums and playgroups. We encourage people to join as many forums as you like, but for the playgroups and due date clubs you should actually belong to it - ie, have a child in the group, or be pregnant at the same time as the due date groups - in order to post there. My suggestion is to join just a couple of forums and get to know the girls there.
