let's talk baby poop: How many times a day are your little ones pooping? Has that number decreased recently?

Jacob was pooping twice a day up until last week and now it's gone to once a day and yesterday he didn't poop at all. His dr said that was fine as long as I didn't see him straining to poop. Just makes me nervous when things start changing but he seems fine so I'm just going to take my dr's word for it.

Glad Jacob is not the only baby who misses a day every now and then. I figure things are good as long as he's not straining.

Nick used to have dirty diapers up to 4 times a day but in the last few weeks it's been slowing down. Now he poops once every other day. Our dr. says that it's normal for bowel habits to gradually change around this age.

Kira is still a poop machine. She poops between 2-5 times a day.

Sofia is still a scheduled pooper. Every day between 9am-10am and then again in the evenings usually right as we are about to sit down for dinner...

JR is once every 3-4 days! He's been like that since he was a few weeks old. The doc said that as long as it's normal color and consistancy and he's not straining or in pain, he's fine. It's quite a change from Allison, who is a once a day pooper.
