Let me start by saying that Jackson is a great sleeper at night! He sleeps straigh through from 10-12 hours! However naptime is a different story! He will only nap in his bouncy seat! We cannot get him to sleep in his crib! We have tried putting him down sleepy, putting him down completely asleep and everything in between. He will immediately wake up and start crying! Any ladies experience the same thing? Any advice on how to transition him?

Thanks!

I am no help on this. The only way Cody will nap is if someone is holding him. As soon as you lay him down he wakes up crying. He isn't sleeping through the night either. He wakes up about every 3 hours.

Jacob is not a great napper either. He needs absolute silence or he can't sleep and with a 3 year old in the house that is darn near impossible. I will usually nurse him and he will fall asleep then I will put him down for his nap, which usually only last about 20 to 30 minutes. At daycare they rock him to sleep which is the only way we can get him to nap. Sorry I'm not much help. Nap time is hard at our house and bed time has also gotten hard lately.

Luke naps well only if we are at home. Its just me, and during nap time it gets pretty quiet around here. He naps 1-2 hours two times a day.

However, this past weekend we were at my in-laws and it was very loud when I put him down to nap. Every little sound his cousins would make he would wake right up. I started to get annoyed which caused a few words between my sister in law and myself. She has a very loud mouth and would not stop talking so loudly. I kept telling everyone, "Luke is sleeping, please keep it down". And I asked them to remind their kids to be quiet too...but seriously after 10 minutes of napping, someone would scream or do something loud and wake him up.

Jax can sleep through a tornado. I couldn't keep the house quiet when he was younger and didn't want him to only be able to sleep in quiet. However, he will ONLY sleep in his bed. If we are somewhere else, he will just get cranky and cry. I would just keep working at him not sleeping in the bouncer. I'm surprised he isn't too big for it now, lol!!
