I usually let Jackson watch tv when I get home from work while I am cooking dinner and I will put Jacob in the living room with Jackson and he will watch the tv a little bit. Some mornings when he wakes up way too early I will turn the tv on and he can see it from his bed. he will lay there a little bit and watch the tv while I sleep a bit longer..lol.
I don't put it on just for her or anything. but if Elijah is watching something she will stop her play and watch for a bit sometimes. like if they play music she will stop what she is doing to dance for a minute. I don't like it on all day or anything but mornings before I really wake up and during dinner prep they will usually watch something.
I don't intentionally put the TV on for Kira but I'll have it on in the background if there's a show I want to watch while I'm playing with her.
For the most part, she ignores the TV, but when I used to watch So You Think You Can Dance when she was really little, she would turn her head to the TV to watch the dancers. I thought that was pretty cute.
I'm similar to Melissa. I also turn on the TV for my 4 yr old after school or early mornings. It's usually no longer than 30 minutes at a time on school days/nights. On the weekends, we may watch a movie or something. Gives me time to do a few things (like a shower) while the baby naps.
The baby doesn't really care for the TV at this time. He may look at it from time to time, but he really just wants Mommy's attention.
