Do you put baby lotion on baby everyday? Has baby started getting dry skin from all the crawling?

I have just started putting baby lotion on Jacob after every bath. His little legs and knees have been getting very dry from all the crawling. The lotion seems to be helping.

We've never used lotion. The only place she seems to have dry skin is the tops of her feet.

I've put lotion on her once a day from day 1. She has dry skin sometimes, and it probably itches. I know I itch when I've got dry skin! It's part of our bedtime routine, and I think it relaxes her with the little massage she gets.

I do it occasionally because I like the way it smells But Luke really does not have dry skin at all.
