How long are babies naps these days? Is baby easy to put to bed at night or does baby not want to go to bed at night?

Jacob is finally taking one long nap. Usually around an hour to an hour and a half. Then he takes a second nap in the afternoon that last around 20 minutes. He used to take 2 20 minute naps and it was impossible to get anything done but now with that nice long nap in the morning, I can finally get a few things done. For the past week or so jacob has been impossible to get to sleep at night. I would nurse him lay him down and he would cry so I would nurse again put him down and he would cry again. We finally let him cry for a few minutes and thankfully it only took about 5 minutes for him to go to sleep. However the past 2 nights I have nursed him, put him in his bed and he has gone right to sleep which is so wonderful. I hate letting him cry.

Naps are still really sporadic here. She almost always has one nice nap in the late morning, but afternoon naps only happen if we take a car ride.

We've been doing some sleep training at night. She had been falling asleep well if I nursed her to sleep, but she would wake up multiple times in the night and need to be rocked/nursed every time. So now we're trying the Ferber method, which is working well for us. Last night she slept solidly from 8:30pm until 7:30am, only waking up for about 15 minutes at 2am (no nursing needed).

Maiya is pretty much awesome...
She takes one 2-3 hour nap in the afternoon which allows me to get some good quality Kaiden time in, and then goes down for 12-13 hours at night - with one wake up (I feed her and change her diaper during that time)...the only secret to sleep training that I have found that has worked for both my kids is to never put them down fully asleep - the most she has cried is 5-10 minutes, and most of the time she doesnt cry at all which is good

Luke has always been a very good napper. He takes one 2-3 hour nap from 12-3 usually.

Night time he is not so great. Still co-sleeping, wakes up once or twice to nurse....but its just for comfort and because im right there so of course if he wakes up he is going to want to nurse.
