So I have finally gotten Jacob to drink cold whole milk out of a sippy cup. It took us several weeks to get him to drink it cold. He would take one drink and then spit it right back out and then throw the cup in the floor. So this weekend I would give him a sippy cup of whole milk with meals and snacks and then we just nursed first thing in the morning and before nap and bed so we are down to 4 nursing sessions a day which has been nice.

How our your little ones doing drinking cold whole milk? Do they like it or hate it?

You know, I've never even tried giving Kira cow's milk at all. I guess I should eventually give that a go.

Yay Jacob!!!! We had an easy transition here about a month ago- both boys have been super easy with their transitions (paci's, bottles, weaning, milk, etc). I'm convinced this means Finley will give me the fight of the century lol.

Carolyn my biggest reason for wanting to get him switched to cow's milk atleast during the day is so I can stop pumping at work. I don't mind breastfeeding him when I'm with him but I am over pumping so I'm glad he's doing ok with the whole milk. Now I can stop pumping during the day and just breastfeed in the mornings, when we get home from work and at night.

Kellye so glad to see you on here. How have your little one's been? How have you been?

Jackson did well transitioning off bottles and onto sippy cups. He doesn't drink cow's milk but drinks cold soy milk no problem now. Kelley, how are things??

That's great that JR loves water. Jacob will drink water but prefers milk now. It used to be the other way around.

It's funny when we go out for meals, I order milk for Allison (her favorite drink) and water for JR. Servers look at me like I'm crazy but unless JR is in the mood for milk he will spit it out and fuss until he gets water, so I just get him water!
