Is your baby still in an infant carrier or is baby in a convertible car seat? Is baby still rear facing?

Jacob is still in his infant carrier. He still fit pretty good in it but I want to go ahead and get him a convertible car seat. DH doesn't want to get one yet so this has been a matter is disagreement in our house. We are going to the beach at the end of August and it's a 10 hour drive. I think he will be much more comfortable in a bigger seat but DH doesn't want to switch him yet. I will of course keep him rear facing as long as possible though.

Rylynn is in a convertible. We switched her to front facing but after some recent research, I am switching her back to rear facing. She'll stay rear facing until around 2.

Yes I would definitely switch her back and keep her backwards as long as possible. I kept Jackson turned rear facing until his little legs were all scrunched up. they like it better forward facing but it is safer to be rear facing.

JR has been in a convertible seat since birth. I am not a fan of the infant seat. He will be RF until 2 in daddy's truck (hard for DH to fasten him up and he only rides there once a week or less) and 3 in my car.

RF convertible since he started walking. He likes it much better than the infant seat and so do I!
