Does your little one like to be read to? Do they want to hold the book or will they let you? Do they try to imitate you when you read?
Jacob loves books but he seems to prefer the books that have pictures for learning words, like ball, truck, shapes and colors. We have one big board book that we go through almost everyday and I will point to the picture and he will tell me what it is. it seems to be really helping him with his language skills and especially learning his colors. I read alot to Jackson and Jacob will sit there sometimes when I read to his brother but he seems to get bored quickly and will either go play with some toys or try to rip the book out of my hands and eat it..lol.
Thank you *Kiliki* for my beautiful siggy
Kira LOVES books. Sometimes she wants me to read to her and sometimes she wants to point at the pictures. Lately she brings two books over so that she can sit next to me and "read" one while I read the other one out loud to her.
