What a great pictures. Your baby is adorable. I'll be hoping and praying for a safe delivery, too. Either early or not.

8 lbs is pretty average size these days. My first 2 were 8 lb 7.5 oz and 8 lb 8 oz. After that I had DS3 at 6 lb 14 oz which seemed so teeny tiny that it was hard to handle him. Grae was exact same size and we called him tater toy b/c that was about what he looked like swaddled-a tiny tater tot..lol! I'm really hoping Xander weighs in at above 7 lb's so I have a bit more baby to handle and my boob isnt bigger than his whole body... lol !!!!

lol I have the same issue with boob to baby size and that made me laugh cause all I can say about it all is that im sitting at a 42 E ATM i can just imagine what it looks like when people look at me when i say i bf cause im sure my boobs are still bigger than my daughters head and shes 16m so i can imagine the view from the outside with a newborn in tow.

OMG his face is priceless!!!
Love that pic.
And don´t be afraid of 8 lbs... I delivered Max at 9 lbs and now my dr is saying this one might even be 10 lbs
Now THAT scares me, haha

Remember it's all an estimate. I can't tell you how many times I've heard a mama say the techs told her baby weighed such and such only for baby to weigh a full pound (or more!) less. My biggest was 9lbs. 14oz. at 38 weeks - I've had 4 over 9lbs. - one at just over 6lbs. and the rest were in the 8lb. range.
