Since we had quite a few ladies joining us lately, I thought it would be fun to get to know you guys a little bit more!
So, if you´re up for it, why don´t you guys tell us more about yourselves, older kids (or no kids), how has this pregnancy been, what are you expecting (boy or girl?) and anything else you want to add
You can find the same info on most of us reading back some posts (queen bee posts).
Can´t wait to hear more!

Ok, I'll start. Husband and I have a 6 y/o daughter who is about to finish up her first year in kindergarten! Growing up WAY too fast. She's excited about being a big sister, and has adjusted to the fact that it's a boy. (Initially, she literally threw her arms up in protest and moaned when the U/S tech told us it was indeed, a boy!)
Pregnancy is going well. A little sick in the beginning, but that's evened out ok. Having a hard time breathing though. Also discouraged about weight gain, but feeling better physically this time around because I've kept up exercising. Modified, of course. Worked and went to school up to this point, but now I'm home! Plan on trying to breastfeed. Really enjoy feeling this little guy kick and squirm all the time, excited about 2nd U/S (well really 3rd) in two weeks!

Thanks Jessie!
Are you on bed rest right now or decided to take a break?
Where are you from? (US, Canada, elsewhere?)
Did you deliver your daughter vaginally or c-section?
How are you planning on delivering this baby?
Hospital, birth center, home?
Nursery coming along? or will you co-sleep, etc?
Any pets?
Sorry! too many questions! haha.
Just that we talked a lot about all of that and we have mamas planning very different things. We also have some very experienced mamas here! (3-4+ kids)

Lol, ok.
1) Taking a break! My kiddo is almost out of school, and I want to spend part of the summer with her before little brother gets here.
2)US, 'burbs O' Houston.
3)Daughter was a c-section. I was over due, went in with what I thought was indigestion. Turns out she was breech, her heart rate was dropping and I wasn't progressing at ALL. The surgery was really a good experience, as far as surgeries go.
4) This baby will be a repeat c-section. I really considered V-BAC, but at the end of the day, I think what works best for me and this little one is the c-section.
5) Hospital.
6)Nursery is painted...and that's it. Lots of work to do!! I'm a master procrastinator.
7) One dog! Rat terrier. He's a saint as far as I'm concerned. Daughter loves him, he loves kids!

Haha, I know... I´m the one with the random questions, lol
I´ll probably be off work soon too, depending on what my dr wants when she sees me in 2 weeks (mostly to keep me away from stress).
Great to know you better!

Houston and DFW area are both massive! I'm from Austin originally, and in Houston you can drive for an hour...and still be in Houston. I'll upload a pic of little guy tomorrow!

Hey ladies,
I'm Rosie. I live in the Mid-West, with DH and DD, she is 13 months old, so we'll have 2 under 2 when LO arrives!
This pregnancy has been interesting - I had bleeding between week 5 and week 8 and thought we had lost, but we were so happy that everything appears to be ok now. I'm due June 25th.
We are having a boy, I can't wait to meet him.
I had a good talk with my OB yesterday and she will support me totally if I decide to do a VBAC. I had thought I might have to have another c-section, but my OB is very supportive. DH and I need to make a decision what we're going to do.
LO will be in our room with us for the first 6 months or so... maybe longer, we'll see. We plan to have him in a crib as I worry about suffocation, but I need to have him close so I can check on him.
Well, that's me!
Looking forward to getting to know you all!
