Amelia Jo arrived June 14th at 1:13pm weighing 7 lbs 13oz and 20 inches long. She is beautiful and we are enjoying being a family of 5 and having some pink in the house after 2 boys
Will post my birth story later, but long story short, I ended up having to have a c-section. I was progressing great, but she kept getting late heart decelerations after the contractions and she wouldn't engage. I was almost at a 7 and stalled out and her heart rate dropped into the 70's and doc came in and decided it was time for the c-section. They got her out and turns out she was all tangled up - the cord was wrapped around her neck twice and her body once. She came out perfectly fine though - pink and screaming
We're home now, and I'm more sore than I could ever imagine, but I'm also more in love than I could ever imagine. She is eating and sleeping well and is just a calm, laid back little princess. I've x-posted pics.
