How often does your LO take milk.. BF or bottle?
Does he/she eat? What and how many times per day?
Tristan is a wonderful sleeper - anywhere from 8 to 11 hours per night without nursing. During the day he nurses often, every 2 to 3 hours. He started showing interest in food, I gave him some cereal today and he seemed to understand what to do. He might be nursing more because of teething. I am just wondering where other babies are at this point..
Ethan is bottle fed, he takes 6 oz when he wakes up, then 6 oz again about 5 hours before bedtime. Then at bedtime he gets 10 oz. Sleeps 12 - 14 hours. We are going to start with some whole grain cereal around Christmas because I plan on getting a high chair for one of his 'santa' gifts. =)
Wish I was nursing. she started to refuse to nurse around 10 weeks and prefered the bottled. I even ordered a supplemental nursing system and it was more of a hassle.
So we are now bottle fed and she is such a happy camper now lol.
Shes a stinker and only will take about 3oz every 2-3 hours. I try to give her 4oz and space out her feedings as long as I can but she just is a small dosage eater I guess.
She started cereal over the weekend and does good with it.
And at night time she wakes up about every 3 hours to eat. She used to be a great sleeper but I think shes teething.
He's bottle fed with formula! He eats a LOT. But he's a happy, healthy guy so ah well. I get a good 3-4 hours in between meals so who cares!
- Breakfast = 1-6.5oz bottle + 2.5TBSP of oatmeal or barley
- Lunch = 1-6.5oz bottle + fruit or veggie
(- Snack = 1-6.5oz bottle - Sometimes we need this, sometimes we don't...he eats 4-5x a day)
- Dinner = 1-6.5oz bottle + 2.5TBSP of oatmeal or barley
- Before bed = 1-8oz bottle
And he sleeps anywhere from 10-12 hours a night! I usually get 1-45 min nap in the morning and maybe a 2 hours in the afternoon with a little cat nap around 6:00 - 6:40 p.m. Not a huge day sleeper!
How often does your LO take milk.. BF or bottle? Addy takes a bottle, she eats about every 3-4 hours during the day and many nights too, she went for a couple of weeks where she went 8 hours, but then back to waking 2x a night...
Does he/she eat? What and how many times per day? She has so far tried cereal (not a fan, so no more of that) and now we have started veggies - squash she liked, next up is sweet potatoes We only do the food at night in between her 2nd to last and last bottle.
Hannah is still EBF....so I have no idea how much she takes in, but I do know she nurses every 2-3 hours, sleeps for about 8 hours every night, and can take a bottle when being babysat in which case she can down 5 oz. I won't try any form of solids until she's at least 6 months, maybe even 9.
I BF Hayden 5-6x per day... He gets 1 tbsp of rice cereal 30min after AM feed, 1 cube of veggie at lunch (so far we'd done butternut squash and now on sweet potatoe), 1 tbsp of oatmeal at supper time.
We haven't introduced fruits yet.. On e we do more veggies and fruit I will give 1 cube of fruit with rice cereal in the morning for breakfast, for lunch after a feeding give 1 cube of veggie and 1 cube of fruit and then for supper give his oatmeal with one cube of veggie.
Hayden sleeps from 7:30pm to 7-7;30am
He naps from 9:30-10:30am, 12:30-2:30 at lunch and then 30min-1hrs (between 4-5pm)
