Addy likes any book you read to her, I don't read to her every night because she is usually ready for her bottle the minute you sit in her rocker If I try to read to her first, she gets mad - piggy!
I will read to her randomly and one of the books we have is Curious George (has a hand puppet) and we got a book from the doc office the other day that she seemed to like, can't recall the name of it though.
This is something I've been meaning to do more often; I read to Evan a lot at bedtime when he was a newborn, but haven't had the chance to read to him lately.....I will though - he has several books. My Aunt gave us "Love You Forever" - I cry every time I read it.
We dont read books at bedtime Currently Raini is getting breathing treatments due to a constant sinus infection, so during those treatments I sing to her since I cant hold a book and her and the breathing thingie.
However, when Mason gets a new book from the library at school, we read it in the car while waiting on Stone to get out of class and Raini sits with me and listens. One specifically Mason got just for her, it was a Kipper the Dog book. She has a dvd that santa brought that she LOVES. When I opened the book the look on her face showed that she recognized him. (she's watched this dvd over and over while doing tummy time or in the exersaucer) She started kicking and grabbing the book. So that's probably her fav.
