We have been using Huggies Little Snugglers for newborns to size 2. About 3 weeks ago I changed her up to a size 3 in Huggies Pure and Natural and she started developing a rash. So I switched to Huggies Little Movers and tried Butt Paste, Desitin, and Triple Paste and nothing is working. I finally took her to the Drs today, and the Dr said she is getting irritated by the plastic on the diapers and to use vaseline with every freaking diaper change until shes out of diapers. Yeah right. That would dry up her skin so fast as soon as shes out of diapers her skin will be relying on that vaseline. So I did a ton of research the past week incase it came to Cloth and it has.
I just ordered the Diaper Safari Pocket Diapers. Seems like the easiest ones to use and Im excited!! I bought 10 diapers plus the microfiber inserts and the doubler inserts for nighttime use. We will still use disposables (with vaseline use) when you do all day outings like Disneyland or when we go on vacations but cloth will be our main use.
Nope, I use Pampers or Huggies or Target brand. Poor girl! I just don't have the time to wash the diapers, I barely can get the regular laundry done...lol! I wish I had the time and patience for it though, good luck!
I switched Daphne to cloth at around 7 months, mostly as a cost-saver, since we are planning to have another baby. Plus, they are SOO cute. I mostly use the Flips with inserts that I make myself, and my SIL has gotten me into using GroVia's. I like the hybrid diapers, since they take up less space in the wash and the diaper bag.
We did cloth for a few months, and then life got busy and we got lazy, but we have decided to go back to CDing (for the $ savings and because they are so dang cute). We use Sunbaby diapers and I like them so far and really love the price! Have you tried coconut oil for her rash? It is cloth diaper safe as well, I got mine at walmart (food side), it works great, and you can use it for sooo many other reasons. GL with everything, CDering can become addicting!
I switched Raini at 9 mths to Cloth because of the same issue. Every single sposie broke her out. I am using pockets, different brands. I have purchased many used in good condition in a swap on fb https://www.facebook.com/groups/ClothDiaperSwap/
