Tonya! Why is it that I rarely ever look at this board! I just read through a bunch of this journal - even though I feel like I can keep pretty good tabs on you on our other board

Kaiden is so cute and he does look exactly like you! So glad things are going continuing to go well.

I will be here more often!!

I KNOW!!!
oH GOODNESS, WHERE TO START....

Ok...
Start after school got out...

The kids left on June 12, and honestly, I came || <-- this close to not having enough milk by the end of the 6 weeks, but luckily, I did...

From there it was a whirlwind...3 days later, Matt's mom and brother came into town, we went to Orlando with Kaiden...

Then back to the house for a week, then we took a crazy road trip from Florida to DC to Delaware, to NJ, to Philadelphia...Kaiden was actually really good the whole time, tons of people around snuggling and holding him...he got a ton of love and really handled it great...

But, his sleep got totally messed up - and its still messed up now...ugh, I haven't gotten a great nights sleep in about a month, which isn't the most fun...

ANyway, a major change happened, Matt got a job at the university, and I am quitting my job to spend time with Kaiden...I quit today, and I'm frightened to death, but I really feel that I made the right decision...

So, now I'm focused on Kaiden, trying to find playgroups for him, and mommy groups for me...and, taking care of Matt's business, and trying to figure out some random jobs that I can do to make some extra money - whew!! I think I'll keep myself busy to say the least

And, of course...pictures

This is a day in my life!!

ITS 1:35AM, and he's up...

He is Houdini at breaking is swaddle...his eyes look closed, but they aren't...

Num num num...

Big poop, so time for a diaper change...

Holy crap, its 5AM and he's still asleep _ HOORAY! But, mommy's boobies aren't

used to the break, so I wake up hurting, and have to pump...5 oz in 15 minutes

(on only one side!)!

(forgot the pic of the clock, but it was right around 5:30AM...and, he's up

again...

Num num num...

Fall asleep in the rocker until 6:30AM, turn on tv...

Matt wakes up at 7AM, goes to make me breakfast

He's done this every morning

for about 2 years!!

Check JM and watch Good Morning AMerica as Kaiden snoozes (this was a weird day,

usually he is a lot more restless but he actually let me sleep - COOL!)...

BREAKFAST is served!

Eggs w/cheese, toast, and a banana...

We eat together...

K is awake, so he does tummy time while we finish eating...

Daddy takes Kaiden for some daddy time...

Daddy changes Kaiden...

Yea for a new diaper!

I brushed my teeth here but the pic made my mirror look too dirty to put up the

pic...anyway, moving on...Laundry!

Stuff a ton of stuff in the washer and still have more to do on top, oh joy (I

didn't end up getting through all of this and putting it away until Saturday -

you will notice there are no pics of me putting it away

)

Daddy plays a concert for Kaiden (he does this every morning

)

Kaiden does tummy time and plays with Elmo Live while...

Daddy and mommy put the boxes outside to get picked up by the mailman (we get

boxes picked up every day, this was a big day of orders!)...

Mommy relaxes and plays online for 30 minutes, Dady finishes up Kaiden time, and

Kaiden comes back to me...

We play sitting up and rolling over...

Get ready to head out to his 4 month checkup (even though he's actually 4.5

months)...yes, thats my version of ready, a shirt, hair is back and no makeup at

all...welcome to my world

Kaiden is not impressed...

Off we go - it is BRIGHT out!

In the carseat...

Hard to see here, but the road we live off of is really pretty...a caniopy of

trees hang over the road...

Kaiden had to get 2 shots at the dr office...he got very sad after his shots...

Big boy went for 20-25% in everything at 2 months to 50-60% in everything now -

WOW!

Walmart cause I got a new cellphone contract and get a free phone...

Got this new phone (I thought I'd taken a pic in the car, but I guess not, so I

just took this pic...I do like the phone!)...

Starving and feeling parched...go to my favorite restaurant...

Ok, I'll be honest, I got dessert first, I was feeling that bad...they put us on the extra section so that I could feed K in private which was really sweet)...

Yummy salmon!

By the time we got home, Kaiden was very sad...

I fed him, and then we played with his bear, and he was happy again

Kaiden fell asleep, and I started organizing transformer tech specs (he has like
1000 - they are worth practically nothing!!) and I put them in ABC order...I didn't finish it that day) and going
through Matt's toy orders for the day...

Kaiden woke up, but I'm still packing, so I but him in the jumper (he LOVES the
jumper!)

After more food, we go for a walk outside, cause its almost time for Daddy to be home...I put him in the hat because I CAN

I'm in a different shirt cause I'd sweat through the other one...EWWWWWW!!!

Daddy's home!! Kaiden and daddy practice rolling over...

Yea Kaiden!

Dady checks email, and we get ready to finish up the orders (he double checks what I do so I dont ship out the wrong stuff)...

I sing to Kaiden as...

Daddy finishes up the orders...

And randomly starts to lift weights (I think he was showing off for you
girls

)...

Lovely, its 9:30pm, and we havent eaten dinner...off we go to the kitchen...

Matt drinks some apple cider

Yea, fancy dinner, I know...and we ate standing up in the kitchen...

)...

Daddy comes in and Kaiden says Hi...

All wrapped up in a towel...

Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed!

Goodnight Moon (we always read the night time books on the changing table, dont ask me why, we just always have)...

Matt readies his swaddle (its on the bed), and I feed him again...

And, its 11PM, so finally Kaiden goes to bed, then Mommy showers, and then...GOODNIGHT

And finally, one of the things that I'm really getting back into is photography...I modeled a bit when I was in high school, and have always been interested in photography...I've already hinted to Matt that I want a new camera (our camera is from 2002!!)...and I think I'm starting to get pretty good with the one I have...

When I get a good camera, I'd like to do a few months of free shots, and then - hopefully - start a small photography business

Very cute pics! I have a Cannon rebel and i LOVE it! (though i admit i need to learn more about it i always just use the auto setting). You should check them out! Or the Nikon d40? i think it is. I prefer Cannon but they're pretty much interchangeable :0
