Copied from a post in my DDC I'm lazy. LOL.

Sorry I didn't update last night!!! When we got home, a guy was supposed to have come over to look at our furnace so we can finally replace it (one of our furnaces quit in march and we haven't replaced it yet and want to do that before it starts getting cold!). The guy never showed but was going to in the next little while..blah blah blah.. guy never showed and finally called at 9:30 by that time we were in bed. LOL.

Anywho, so yeah, didn't update.

It was funny.. I drank about HALF the amount an hour before the ultrasound (instead of the full amount 2 hours before).. and even though the place was only 15 minutes from work, I STILL had to stop halfway there and partially empty my bladder.. LOL. Then when I got there and they started the u/s she commented on how ridiculously full my bladder was. LOL.

Anywho, she ended up getting me to empty all the way and do the transvag one because she couldn't get good enough pictures.

I'm measuring about 6.5 weeks instead of 7.5 .. I thought it would be closer to 7 since I ovulated later but not a full week later! But she said that she wasn't going to change my due date at this point.

Heartbeat was at 144 bpm!

The image will probably be sideways, but I took the picture and uploaded it from my phone to photobucket and the phone app doesn't allow you to rotate (boo). And sorry for possibly mammoth size.

Glad it all looked great! That's stronger than Sean's heart rate was at the same point.

Our weekend went well. We ended up being invited last minute to a birthday party for our friend's 1yo. We went to a place that was like Chuck E Cheese's (I think those are in the US?) and it was interesting being the ONLY couple there without kids. When we went in and said we had no kids, the people at the front desk looked at us like we were crazy.

But we survived it and I only got minorly tired and headachy.

Yes, the headaches have come full force, and sadly tylenol has done nothing for them, so I'm just having to "tough them out". I was always susceptible to migraines and was hoping they'd lessen..but sadly they've increased instead.

Other than that, I'm feeling .. blah. I would actually trade in how I feel for m/s happily. Being nauseous and sick I can understand and other people can understand. But I just feel "blah" and "ick" for 16 hours of the day. Not nauseous, not sick.. just feel generally...like crap. LOL.

I've learned that I can't do much exercise without getting out of breath or becoming crampy, which sucks since before I would walk an hour or two a day. So I'm hoping this will pass when I hit the 2nd tri.

Anywho, that's the end of the preggy whining.. LOL. I'm still happy to BE whining. We've lost several girls in the DDC, and I'm still on edge, but am happy to be where I am

Just take it easy and get plenty of rest. I understand being cautious, I still am. You are a week behind me and I intend on keeping it that way .

I hope you start to feel better soon. I've been told there is a light at the end of the tunnel and it does get better.

You're right in the thick of where my MS was the worst. I started feeling a little more human around 9 weeks, but even still had it through the end of the first trimester. You're getting so close to it easing up! I know you don't have MS, but I'd imagine it'd be similar timeline to feeling better.

I was getting migraines early on in my pregnancy and found that taking a baby aspirin each day was just enough to stave it off. And it's safe to take a baby aspirin while pregnant, it's often recommended for women who have clotting disorders.

Thanks Nicholle

Robyn- Really? I might have to try the baby aspirin route...these days I seem to have a headache every day and taking tylenol doesn't even do anything once they've "established"..so a preventative sounds like a good idea.

Thanks Dawn I definitely intend to keep it that way too!!!!

Last night was band, and just like the last week, man, I was just exhausted before it even started. Apparently I'm going to be playing piccolo this semester, which I'm sad about - the first night there was a new guy there that was AMAZING on piccolo, but he hasn't been there the last 2 nights, so I think it's safe to say he's not coming back.. but since picc takes double the breath support than flute needs, I'm sad that I'm stuck with picc for now. By the end of the night my blood sugar was super low and I was feeling faint/dizzy/shakey/etc. So that's something I'm going to have to watch and take some juice or something for breaktime.

This morning I went to walmart because the new WoW expansion was out.. and even though there were TWO other customers there waiting for it at the same time, the 3 workerbees that were there were unconcerned and even though they said they had another box in the back to unpack, they were not in any hurry to go and see if that box contained the game (since it wasn't out on shelves). Whatever happened to customer service??? They're lucky this preggo was too hungry to give them a piece of her mind... LOL. So I had to leave and come to work without it... ah well. Just means I get to go out at lunch time

Yup! Worth trying for sure!

I used to play the flute, too! It's been so long that I don't really remember anything. I loved trying the piccolo. Hope the juiced helps!

This is Appa's big weekend!! We dropped him off at my groomer's this morning and she'll be taking him up to Edmonton for the show. She will also be taking a standard poodle and a bichon x as she is competing with all 3, but certifying in the poodle and wheaten.

I'm excited for the weekend "off" from him, but at the same time, I just have these images of him going off on a crazy rampage and biting the judges. With the fact that he's a fearful dog and reactive ... it COULD happen. LOL. I'm sure it won't since he acts totally different with other people (including DH) than with me, but I still have major fears with it.

We're heading out to the cabin this weekend and shutting it down for the winter. Which is definitely sad, but on the other hand - when we open it up in spring we'll have a baby in hand!!! So it's mixed emotions.

Not much else is going on...when I have energy, I've devoted my time to the new WoW expansion, and other than that, we're having a lot of "us time" since we know that that will end in several months. So we're definitely taking advantage of it now while we can.

That's about it!! Not much else to say.

Oh, I will say that I'm debating on whether I want to do progression pics. With the PCOS and weight, I already carry the "4 month pregnant look", so not sure I want everyone else to see that.. LOL. I hate being a fluffy girl

Maybe do the progression pics just for you, if you feel insecure. You might regret it if you don't do them.

I agree with Adrienne, at the very least take them for yourself. I'm not enjoying photos of myself so much these days since I'm putting on the baby weight all over instead of just in my stomach, but it is still nice to have a record of the belly growing.

Good luck to Appa! That's a great way of looking at the bittersweetness of closing up the cabin for the winter. I keep thinking of all the little holidays and events that have happened during my pregnancy as bringing us closer and closer to meeting our little boy.

It was a rough weekend for Appa. He wasn't supposed to be home until tonight, but ended up coming home last night instead.

My groomer took 3 dogs up for the show, and the first morning they (groomer and hubby), took 2 of the dogs and left Appa in the room from 3:30am - 6am. Normally Appa is great alone, and doesn't have any problem with staying in hotels, but apparently he was NOT happy about being left behind and barked for 2 hours. Needless to say, my groomer got into some trouble with the hotel (And it probably didn't help that one of the other dogs apparently had some explosive poop issues and ruined appa's bed and stuffed animal that he sleeps with).

So they decided the dogs would come home a day early with the hubby instead of today (my groomer just has seminars today, so it didn't really change her plans and hubby had to come home for work anyways..they just had to do some vehicle switch arounds).

My groomer didn't place with either her poodle or with Appa, though she got 2nd with a bichon X. She was VERY happy with Appa's groom and was surprised that she didn't place with him - but the judge had nothing good to say about Appa. He was really good during the groom and is one of the few dogs that doesn't need to be tied up during the groom, and he was very nice towards the judge, but apparently she didn't like him. I know his legs are longer than breed standard and that can make the groom look a bit different - but this isn't a conformation class on the breed - it's to see how well the groomer knows the breed cut and how well she handles the dog!!!

So, while my groomer was very pleased with how he turned out, she was less than impressed about the judge and thought that her remarks were completely uncalled for.

Anyways, so he came home last night and was one very very tuckered out puppy. DH is home with him today, so he should settle back pretty quick.
