We had our anatomy scan yesterday and everything went really well. I could tell at one point the tech was worried about baby's heart but the doctor didn't seem to think anything was wrong when she came in. Baby girl was wiggling around like crazy but we still managed to get some pics
Here is our baby girl!!
I did find out I have a low (and confirmed anterior) placenta so that is something we will be keeping an eye on.
Wow I cannot believe you are already over 20 weeks...time is flying by....over half way done Congrats on team pink...I'm so happy and excited for y'all....your little girl is so cute she is all snuggled up in momma ....I love the 3d ultrasound.
Things have been going well so far. With the anterior placenta I still have not felt any kicks (well maybe one or two but I really cant be sure with so few) so that has me just a bit nervous. My next doctor appointment is a week from today and she says if I am not feeling them by then we will run some tests. Other than that I think I am just having the normal pregnancy issues - heartburn, stomach pains, tired, insomnia, round ligament pains, and the occasional emotional meltdown. But none of that bothers me too much.
We started our birthing classes with the bradley method last week and I am really enjoying those. They gave us some good exercises I have been keeping up with and lots of tips. I am really hoping it helps me have a natural childbirth but either way I am learning so much.
Not much else to update right now. I will have some more after my appointment next week! I miss all of you guys a lot
Wow it has been a long time since I have updated - my DDC basically died on here so I have not made it to JM much recently. Here is a quick update from me.
I was measuring 3 weeks small (fundal measurement) so I had an "emergency U/S" but it turns out Baby Girl is growing well and was actually in the 69th percentile so she is pretty big!! Weighs about 5 pounds now and is still a girl We didn't get any good pics but I was just so relieved she is okay! Other than that I have the typical pregnancy issues - severe back pain, heart burn, stomach issues in general, and the added bonus of SPD that can be pretty debilitating. But overall I have just been really trying to enjoy the pregnancy. I spent so much of it in complete fear of something going wrong that I am trying to do what I can now to enjoy all the little baby kicks I am getting now.
We completed our Bradley Method classes and to be honest I dont feel like I got a ton out of them. I went ahead and signed up for the hospital class as well because I am hoping to learn some more.
In other life news - we finally moved and are getting all settled into the new place. Moving in the third trimester is not the most brilliant thing we have ever done but I am so glad we will be bringing our baby home to this house. It has a yard and is right by an elementary school and park and is 2 minutes from my parents house. We are still working on selling our other house which has made it so I wont be able to quit my job anymore when baby gets her which has been pretty tough on me. But I am hoping I will only need to work a month or 2 and that should get us through.
I really miss you ladies!! I will try and make sure I come back and post some more updates.
Sorry to hear about the house, but I'm glad all is well with your little princess.
sorry about the SPD too... My mom had a mild form of it with one of my brothers, and I have pelvic issues in general... I'm a little bit afraid that if we ever get pregnant I'll end up with it! I hope these last 7-9 weeks are easy on you!
