Planned or unplanned?

We planned the heck out of our first, and we planned to have a second, just not this minute - but thanks to a very late ovulation here we are! And it is a very welcome surprise!

We were planning on preventing until December, but I guess this baby had other ideas

I tried to reply to this already but it said it needed to be reviewed by a moderator?! I must have done something wrong, lol.

Anyway, I was going to say I ovulated super early, on CD 11. Last cycle I ovulated on CD20. I told DH I was considered fertile, but that I never ovulate earlier then cd 14 (I know, I know, broke the rules). Imagine my shock when we ovulated a few days later! lol Well, I'm thinking pink now! LOL

We were preventing with condoms and we "forgot". We tried so hard for 2 years and were preventing to avoid a miscarriage, we were/are moving toward adoption and I've had enough miscarriages that I don't even know why I'm posting in here but yeah. A happy surprise

I voted "something else." We were protecting, but this particular evening we decided to be irresponsible. We're both adults, and we know how babies are made.

We took our chances, but we didn't think we'd end up pregnant, that's for sure!

Preventing! I had an IUD in, which fell out about a week and a half ago now and prompted me to POAS. We're very happy though, the only thing that frightens us is a m/c history.

Have been trying for a while...sort of...Basically weren't using protection, hoping to get pregnant, but weren't doin' it like bunnies during the ovulation days...lol
Long story short, i always had a hard time getting pregnant,so we we just didn't try to get too excited, kwim?
