I went for my apt this morning to meet the high risk delivery team. And the doctor asked if knew what i was having.. I said no but i really wanted to know. i wasnt going to tell him i have an apt to find out on the 23  . We only got a little glance at baby but he showed off his stuff just once.
I also have to do a 24hour pee collection for preeclampsia. Not really what i wanna do 2mar but that's ok. Has anyone had to do this?

I did. It was to get a baseline for this pregnancy. I had severe hellp with my last pregnancy.

Oh man! Sorry about the pre-e protocol. I have had it twice. No fun. Now I go on a special diet with each pregnancy to help prevent it high protein vegetarian diet, lots of dairy, with magnesium/calcium supplements. I limit all fluids to water and milk. I Eat all fresh/real food, and no boxed/processed foods. It made a big difference in my last pregnancy and is helping out a lot this time too.

Yay Team Blue! I had to do the 24 hr collection right after the holidays for protein spilling in my urine, which my dr. thought might be a problem with my kidneys due to chronic high blood pressure. The collection wasn't bad, I was more scared about the possibilities with the results. It was kind of awful carrying a big, bright orange jug full of pee back into the office the next morning But it turned out fine, hope yours does too!

I had to do a 24 hour urine with this pregnancy
and blood test with it.... I am waiting to get results
