I swear I felt this kid swimming a few times last week and now nothing. I know it is still early and there is a lot of room in there, but it kind of makes me freak out having felt something and now nothing Someone ease my mind!

Im sorry, have you tried to drink some pop or orange juice and lay down? I dont feel mine often, and at times i wonder if somethings wrong. Try not to worry.

Its perfectly normal to not feel consistent movement at first. I definitely don't think you have any reason to worry at only 18 weeks.... Have you tried anything tier the baby moving....like chugging a glass of ice water and/or eating something sweet and then sitting down for a while? I notice a lot of movement if I eat something like I've cream in the evening.

I actually eat a lot of sweets already so maybe the baby is just immune now Plus, I have a toddler to keep after so I am usually moving and not sitting down. That could have something to do with it. Or something could be wrong I keep going back to that

My OB told me to drink something super sicky sweet, wait an hour, lay down and wait for movement if I ever get worried.

I don't feel much yet either Looking forward to the ultrasound this coming Thursday to reassure me all is ok!!! I know they say sometimes you can have an anterior placenta as well which puts an extra cushion between you and the baby which makes it harder to feel movement too!

I just started feeling regular strong movement the past two weeks and I'm 21 weeks. I would try not to worry too much. I notice that when I am on my feet all day with my 2 year old I feel little movement but at night after dinner I feel her move a lot. I agree with drinking a glass of pop and laying down-that always worked with my son and this baby too.

I started feeling movments about 2 weeks ago...Always in the morning and night when I would lay down...All Friday and Sat. I felt nothing and this was the first time in my 4 pregnancies that it made me worry, so I called the hospital and I said, I know the baby is still small, but it has been 2 days...So she told me to go in and they would listen for the heart beat..I went in and the heart was beating strong at 160bpm....And since I got home( this was last night) I still have not felt the baby a whole lot...Oh and before calling the hospital I did what they usually say...Drink something sweet, eat a meal, lay down quiet for a long period of time....I guess I just have a quiet baby...Hope that eases your mind a bit...I know it is hard.....I am sure it is because the little one is still so tiny....

I turned 18 weeks yesterday and I feel very little movement. Like, almost none. I felt a tiny movement yesterday and then I felt her push against my stomach once today and that's it so far today. We're still early! And you may have an anterior placenta like me.
