I had an 8.30 app., went i had to fast since last night, so i had caffeine withdrawal headache..lol.
They took all my blood,lol-well 1 vial for the fasting gluc. blood test, the rest for other tests (i have been missing appointments), then i drank the gluc. drink , (it wasn;t bad actually was a limeade type, so like very sweet sprite,lol-. Then one hour later an other vial blood drawn, then one our later one more.So 9 vials all together!!! Worst then vampires...lmao!!

Thankfully the tech was really good, i have good veins, but she didn't bruise me or anything even for the third time.
I have to go next week for my u/s, so they will tell me the results then, unless its bad, they said if its abnormal they will call.
I got so dizzy after, almost passed out, when we were waiting for our table at the restaurant...
Best thing was, we went to celebrate my birthday today, had lunch at the Cheesecake Factory-our fav-, and ate the whole menu!!!!Lol...then hubby bought me the cutest maternity shirt from H& M..))))
Until now, i didn't have any maternity tops...lmao!!!
Its adorable, and i want to wear it for the u/s..lol.

Jeez louise girl yucko! I had my glucose test today too but luckily I just went in after work, chugged my glucola (orange flavored) waited my hour got 2 vials taken then went on my merry way! My lady did bruise my arm though I think because she was too busy telling me her opinions on tattoos cause ya know since I have them I just MUST care what she thinks (eyeroll)

What other blood tests did they draw? I wonder if they are going to do anything other then the glucose screening for me... I probably would have gotten at least a draw to check my antibody levels for the rhogam shot, but instead they just gave me the injection...

Well everything else i suppose, this is the first time i had blood taken since i become pregnant -due to insurance, and medicaid issues i couldn't go before-, so i guess they are checking everything.

And txs Annick, this was my birthday celebration, it was great!!!
