It went well. We made lots of food and everyone loved it. Exspecially tne strawberry lemonade cupcakes I made. Only about half the people invited came but I was so greatful for everything. I am a bit stressed now though know everything I still need. I have 0 diapers and newborn or 0-3 months clothes. I also still do not have a diaper bag. So now I just gotta focus on working as long as I can to get everything we need. I will post pics of the shower tomm. Im exhausted after today

I have never heard of a baby shower where the mother didn't get at least some diapers, but sounds like you had a good time I look forward to seeing some pictures! I am not having a shower so I have to live vicariously through you ladies that are

Don't stress too much! At my shower there was some confusion to where I was registered so I got ALOT of clothes....so I just took the gift cards I got and the clothes I didn't like or had an excessive amount of and returned them. Then I used my store credit and gift cards to get what I still needed...We still don't have EVERYTHING but we certainly have enough to survive lol

I'm glad you had a good time and strawberry lemonade cupcakes sound amazing! I've commenced my diaper hoarding just picking up a pack every week or so at the grocery store. I can't wait to see pictures!

My baby shower was the same way! I got no diapers, and only 3 outfits (all 6-9 months)... My husband and I went out afterwards and did some big time 0-3 month clothes shopping! I buy a pack of diapers each time I go grocery shopping (trying to build up gradually)...

Thanks ladies. I did take back one of the monitors I got and got some stuff I really need so that helped. I had to take the girls to the doc though and they both have bronchitis so I havent had time to put up pics..will do tomm

only half the people I invited showed up too! My shower was Sat, but we had fun regardless! I still need a diaper bag too. I got almost all size one so I'm gonna have to exchange some for different sizes. But I feel blessed that anyone showed Your cupcakes sound awesome!!!
