I've been getting menstrual-like cramping on & off pretty much all day... nothing really timeable. Doesn't make a difference if I lay down or not. I'm 35 1/2 wks. No bloody discharge or anything like that. Any opinions or neone else dealing with this?
I haven't dealt with those cramps this time around, but I had a lot my last pregnancy around 35-39 weeks. Pretty much constant cramping. I think it's just your body getting ready to give birth. Hips spreading and things getting aligned.

I started feeling cramps this morning. oddly, RIGHT after MIL emailed me to see how I was. :-)
light period-like cramping like I get the week before, along with pretty intense BH.
So weird!!! Exactly in the same boat as you, on and off all day. I never experienced this in my other pregnancies so I've been worried but I feel much better now
I've got none of that. I have no indication that my body is preparing for labor. Nothing menstrual-like anyway. Any cramping I feel is more bloat related.

Glad to see this because I have been having some pretty good menstrual-like cramping for about a week or so. It really picked up today and has been pretty much constant and I have been having a ton more BHs. I didn't have much of either with my last pregnancy. I pretty much chalked it up to my body getting ready and moving him down, but I wasn't sure.
I started having light cramping at 30 weeks, I've mentioned it to my doctor several times when they ask if I've been experiencing pain and they always tell me it's normal. I still mention it but she's doesn't seem concerned at all.
just the last day or so I've had really light cramping, and the pain in my back has turned more into the same kind of pain that I would get during my period.
Thanks for the input ladies. I'm excited to get checked next Tues. to see if all this cramping & bh are doing nething. I am waaaay excited to meet this little one!!
