Ok so I had a horrifying moment yesterday that actually turned out to be nothing and made me feel like a dingbat. It was a super lazy day, we all stayed in the house and did nothing. It was wonderful. So I'm sitting on the chair watching Lie to Me and DH and DS are off doing whatever they do. DD climbs in my lap and falls asleep. I didn't realize how long we'd been sitting there but I guess it must have been a long time. She starts to wake up and I feel like a tingle/tinkling feeling where I'm sitting. I started freaking out a bit and eased her off of me to find my pants and the chair soaking wet. So then I lost it. I ran to the bathroom while DH was frantically yelling "Are you ok?" expecting to see blood but nothing. My second thought was that my water broke so I strip my bottoms off and sit on the toilet expecting more fluid but nothing. So now I'm confused. I go back out into the living room and DH has DD who is naked from the waist down and getting her diaper changed. He tells me she had soaked through her diaper. He shows me her pants and gives me a hug and asks me if I'm bleeding or cramping and I say no. He says it wasn't you, it was her, she peed on you. So now that the scary part is over I just broke down and started sobbing, clutching DH the whole time who held me and said it was ok and stroked my hair until I was done. Then I started laughing. All that terror over being peed on. After all that drama I needed some chocolate.

I told my daughter I understand that as her mommy she's supposed to both pee on me and scare me to death but I never knew it would be at the same time.

We always think the worst! DS has peed on me a few times and if it happened while PG I know I would think the same thing you did. Thank goodness you're ok!
