I'm all for venting about the MIL!
Found some info on the egg hunt finally. Had to hunt for it though.
I think 4H sounds like fun. Chris was in it when he was a kind and enjoyed it for the most part.

We're making a ham for Easter dinner with rolls and mashed potatoes. And then apple dumplings for dessert. Yummm! Gonna dye eggs with DD probably Friday, maybe take her to an Easter thing on base Saturday and do a small hunt out front with her Sun morning.
Unrelated: My stomach HATES me this week. Ugh. I hate weeks like this. No gall bladder SUCKS sometimes!

Easter! I wish I had a little one already to take egg hunting. Oh well. We're going to visit my mom for Easter for the first time in like 3 years. My MIL is super catholic so always does a HUGE feast so we stick around for hers. My mom doesn't mind because she only bothers to make a meal if someone requests one. I'm happy though plus it means a trip to the city - SHOPPING

So I must ask... what is 4H??
And for Easter!! My mom will be cooking a honey baked ham, mashed potatoes, rolls, green bean casserole and probably baked beans as well, oh and of course deviled eggs... MMM cannot wait, hopefully it will be a good day and I will actually be able to eat and keep food down!!
Oh, and don't judge, but I am extremely jealous of all the kids that get to participate in egg hunts!!! I cannot wait until this little one is old enough, that way I have an excuse to participate

Ugh, she just hates me so she tries to make my life as miserable as possible. Lately, it's been unsolicited advice about when they baby is born, like how she needs water in a bottle (no she doesn't) and that I MUST use bumpers.
Keep in mind, this woman has never had children. My hubby is her STEP son who she started 'raising' around age 5. So she has no experience with babies. I told her that infants do not NEED water in a bottle because breast milk has plenty of it in there but she just laughed and said you shouldn't believe everything you read. Uh, well, I'll believe pregnancy advice/child rearing books over you any day, you crazy old bat.

I'm really looking forward to Easter too. We're going to color eggs on Saturday and then go to my Nan's house and have my kids' very first Easter egg hunt. Then oh my god the food! My Nan usually makes fried chicken for Easter which my DH looooooooves and this year I've talked my aunt into making homemade soup which I've been craving for this whole freaking pregnancy. I'm going to gain like 10 pounds in one day!

Apparently we haven't had to print anything in the last 4-5 months that we've had our puppy. Just printed out some insurance stuff to sign for DH's motorcycle and she had a barking/growling fit at the printer puppies are just too funny!

Yay for a chat thread! Hope it's okay if I jump in!
Were going to MIL's for Easter..Were actually getting along right now..lol We have a real love/hate relationship..
I set up all the Easter baskets today and hid them in the hallway porch..lol I left a little grass behind that had fell near Ava's bed and some must have got kicked under and the girls found it and now they think the Easter bunny lives under there

Yikes! I wouldn't be leaving your infant with her. Water before 6 months can be harmful to the baby. . . And yeah, it isn't really needed when they're on formula or breastfeeding. Oy.
I <3 my step-MIL!
My poor childs bottom is taking a beating from getting all 4 of her 2year molars in at once. I am sure other mommies know what I mean.

Oh, I don't plan on it...She's going on about she needs a car seat, crib, etc for their house and I'm just thinking, "No, you really don't need any of those things because Mikayla is not going to be subjected to your nutso."
Shame too, because Brian's dad (who's married to the flake) is an awesome grandpa and is extremely excited to have another grandchild. I'd trust him with Mikayla every day of the week and twice on Sundays.

Keep sticking with it!! I know it's exhausting & can be frustrating, but it's awesome to be mostly free of diapers (in our case she wears one to bed)! We're a month and a half in & we still have hard/bad days! We're able to go out in public in undies most the time & she does great. I've found now that she does better if I just take her to the bathroom. If I ask if she has to go, it's always no, lol. Good luck!

Thanks. I am gonna stick with it this time for sure. Don't want 2 in diapers. I am worried about the out in public part. She is so tiny and can't imagine putting her on a big girl toilet..LOL I also kept bringing her to the bathroom and it worked better, cause every time I asked her it was "no" lol
