I cut my hair today. Like 12 inches!! Chris is going to poop bricks. I'm scared to show him. He thinks I should never cut it ever. But it was sooo long and was driving me nuts and I wanted to donate to Locks of Love in honor of my friend so I just did it. He wont really be mad, just give me shyt forever about it.
What is it with men and long hair? My dad was against my mom cutting hers too, like really against it. My cousin's DH forbid her from cutting it. And after mine starting growing out again I asked DH if he would like me to grow it out and he immediately said yes. It's some kind of weird fascination.
Oy, first time I've been on here all day!! We got up, had breakfast, threw some sandwiches & snacks together and headed out. We checked out this aquarium like thing out here. . . It was $20 a person to get in with our military discount, with DD being free, and it was tiny. We seriously saw it all in an hour [which included a dolphin show]. I was kind of bummed - But DD enjoyed the little bit of animals they had there. It's more of an interactive park - Where you can feed the animals, swim with the dolphins (for $200+ each), ect. . . She loved the dolphin show, though! We came home and crashed, dyed Easter Eggs, Skyped with my mom and had dinner. It was a fantastic little family day <3 I am going to head to my girlfriends house after DD goes to bed with some ice cream to keep her company!
So I didn't say anything to Chris about cutting my hair and he didn't notice right away when he came in, but my little snitch, Audrey announces "Mom cut off all her hair today!" So I turned bight red and he makes me turn around so he can see it. Then says "Holy F woman, what did you do???" He wasn't mad but I'm sure he wasn't thrilled either. Oh well, it will grow and besides HE doesn't have to deal with 3 foot long hair in his way all the time!
Ugh woke up all stuff this morning. Headed to the Egg hunt in a couple hours, then maybe a walk by the waterfront if its warm enough.
I'm having a lazy day in bed after struggling with a cold all week. DP is very sweetly sitting up here with me on his computer though I keep telling him he can go downstairs if he wants...he's making me a sandwich for lunch right now. They're showing re-runs of your show Maternity Ward on one of the UK channels but I'm not sure I'm going to watch tons of it because they show the stories with the sad endings on there as well and I've just been crying my heart out over a lady with a non-viable pregnancy who had to be induced knowing the baby would not survive once born.
We just had a bonfire outside....in April....yep! We had one in March for DH's birthday too...now I smell like smoke.....but at least both times so far this year I've remembered to shut the windows of the house!

I've been so tired this week that I've been napping every day with DD. Like completely knocking out napping, lol. I think it's because since DH has been off work, we have been going to bed later then usual and I am just not sleeping so well most nights. Oy.
Not looking forward to him going back to work on Monday - I know Emmersyn is going to be bummed, too!!
I am playing Easter bunny right now, eggs are filled, baskets are out, and I am assembling some awesome toys the Easter Bunny found on clearance at walmart!
Busy day today again! Really? Yeah.
We went to a fair type. Where there forever I got so tired. Then my son had a friend over and we just played games and I read them a book and then we played sorry and took forever. Now we are going to eat and I suppose to be doing some work that is due in three days. Uh I am so tired I guess I will be doing it tomorrow (on Easter!).
Ugh, such a boring day for us. Chris is working like usual so here we sit. The weather is ugly and no where is open so the girls have been watching movies, playing on their smart cycle and fighting. Hope the day goes fast for us!
Troy definitely prefers my hair long too, but he doesn't say anything as long as it's at least to my shoulders
I hope your day goes quickly, Mel, sorry Chris has to work!
We got up and did our egg hunt, but couldn't go to Church because we're in the middle of a snowstorm. And if it doesn't stop soon, we're going to have to miss our family dinner too
I'm very crampy today. I believe it's from eating pizza yesterday. I have IBS, and cheese is a major trigger, but since I've been pregnant, sometimes it's been fine (and I've been majorly craving it) and other times it's caused cramps. I wouldn't say it's spoilt my Easter but we were going to have ice-cream for pudding after dinner and now I daren't because it's more dairy, and I've already had a bit of Easter egg and a chocolate Flake today.
