Do you talk to the baby at all? What about DP and siblings, do they?

I do sometimes, but I feel kind of silly doing it! Mostly just asking her to move or telling her we're so excited to meet her.

I really haven't. I don't feel like I've bonded with this baby much yet since I'm still not feeling much movement. Maybe then I will talk once I actually feel like s/he is there.

I was for a couple weeks because I felt guilty that I wasn't. But I dunno... something happened. DH changed his schedule or something and he was home more or I don't know. And I just haven't really gotten back into the habit of it. Occasionally I will, like if I go over a bump in the road and really jostle myself, I'll say "Sorry baby! Mommy will try to drive better." or something like that.

I kind of want to start reading aloud again (did it like around 19 weeks and felt kind of silly doing it) and I kind of want to start playing music, but I just don't know...

Not that I don't WANT to do it, I just feel silly. My mom said that she never did it for any of us.

I do but mostly only when i am alone. DH just looks at me and smiles, which i see as laughing at me so then baby and i go hide. I usually just talk to it when it is kicking, or moving around. I think I talk so much because i work with kids and i am used to having a one sided conversation.

I have started saying different names to the baby to see if it kicks. it gives me a laugh, and i sing songs when i am sitting in traffic. It is really neat beacuse just these past two weeks it has started kicking more when i sing or talk. I believe it can hear me.

Its sometimes silly but once you do it for a while you wont feel so nervouse. Also never do it when people are around, everyone has their own sarcastic comments to make and its just not worth it.

Yes I do but only when i'm alone - people will think im nuts if they see me walking round chatting away to the bubble
Alan doesn't really talk to the baby other than to say good morning and ask why he/she was making me so sick. He will ask me how the bubble is doing rather than ask the bump.

I do all the time! But like others, only when I'm alone.

DH does from time to time.

I do here and there. Mostly I say 'hello little one' when I get kicks. I don't really worry about who's around as I tend to natter away to myself anyway.
DS pats my belly and says 'baby' and gives my belly hugs.

I talk to Eli all the time. In the morning I always say good morning to him. I talk to him during the day and DH reading a baby book to my belly at night Sometimes I talk out loud just so the baby can get used to my voice or if he's being very active and I want him to calm down. It does seem to make him move less when I start singing to him. I love talking to my bump.

Sometimes - But not as often as I did with my first pregnancy. Maybe because I am not completely alone most the time, since DH isn't deployed this time & I have DD with me all day. Hah. She obviously hears our voices from talking to each other. I am also not feeling AS bonded with Adalyn as I did with Emmersyn when she was in my belly. Emmersyn will sometimes talk to her - Saying 'hi baby sister' or 'hi Adalyn', and she'll sometimes YELL 'Adalynnnnnn' or 'baby sisterrrr' into my belly button, which is adorable and hilarious!!

I talk to him when I haven't felt him move around in a while. I've noticed that if I sing in particular, he usually moves a bit.

DH talks to him every single night before we go to sleep. We sleep with a fan (for white noise), so I can never hear what he says. I love it, though, like it's daddy-son time every night.

I do! DS does all the time. For the longest time he would make me open my mouth so he could say (very loudly) "hi" to the baby. He thought she could hear him better that way!

I have been a lot more lately. Especially after he wakes up from a nap and starts moving around I usually saying something along the lines up "Oh are we finally up?" Or if I have some caffeine and he starts kicking like crazy I'll talk to him. I know he can hear me now. DH doesn't talk to him, but he never talked to the other ones either. DD has kissed my belly many times and said "Night night" to him.
