Do you plan on doing maternity pics? Have you booked a photographer? How many weeks do you plan to be when you do them?

We won't. I mentioned it to my husband, and he thought it was absolutely ridiculous. I'm not that into it either, but it would be nice to document in some way (more professional than my husband's snapshots). So I might have to keep working at him.

I would like to, but we probably won't do professional...a friend of ours does photography for a hobby and I'd like her to do them. She's done it for another friend of ours and they turned out beautifully.

No I probably won't but I would like to make sure I do get some photos of me taken this summer when I really start to get big.
I was looking through a photo album the other day and there were some shots of my mom when she was pregnant with me - just taken by my dad (?) or a friend I don't know. They're just fine for remembering. I don't think its necessary to get professional photos.

I doubt I will. I never did it before. Maybe I should since it's the last baby. But I wouldn't do pro shots. If I did it would be a friend willing to take them for me.

Not professional.. I will take more pics though cause with my others I don't have too many pics..since this is the last I am trying to savor it more..So I will most likely have a friend take some for me...

I had a friend who is a professional photographer take maternity pics with my son. She took them at our house and I loved them. I used to look back at them all the time when LJ was first born in amazement, and he loves to look at them now and say "that's me!." We're going to do the same this time, but my son will be included in most (if not all) of the pictures. We may do them outside since it's nice. I'll be getting them done the weekend after mother's day when I'm 30 weeks.

i find myself to be kinda ugly and fat right now i like my belly, but i feel... unattractive and wouldn't want many pics taken of me. I wish i bloomed like some moms do, but all i seem to get is a spotty chin, flat hair and swollen ankles!

I would love to, especially since we have the money this time around. I just had my mom take some pictures for me with my daughter last pregnancy - It did the job but I'd love some maternity pictures.
However, I think I would rather just wait until baby is here and get some cute family pictures. We can't afford to do a maternity session - Then a family. But I think I can talk DH into some family pictures in Sept or Oct - In time for Christmas photos as a new family of 4

If I knew someone I would but I'm not paying an arm and a leg for them. I have plenty of belly pics to remember my pregnancies by.

It's not going to, but I do want to invest in some professional pictures of the baby and my other kids after the baby is born.

I would love to have some done... probably won't have the extra cash for it. A friends father takes awesome shots, so maybe we can talk him into it hahaha

i have a professional photographer friend who's already mentioned getting some shots but I hate myself in pictures when I'm not pregnant let alone all puffed out like a blow fish so we'll see. But probably not.

I'm doing them. I'm waiting until I pop, then calling up my friend who is a fabulous photographer & who is also doing my birth. I want a cute belly, but I don't want to be hot & sweaty, and I don't want to be huge either - I still want my shirts to cover my belly all the way for the pictures. I'm guessing I'll be 28-30 weeks, even though as a photographer I recommend my clients do it between 32 & 34 weeks.

It's not my thing to get professional photos of myself unless it's a family shot with all of us. I hate posing. I'll just get DH to take some pics since I have a decent belly to show off now. Even though I don't feel attractive I'm sure my son will want to see pictures of me pregnant with him!

Nope, I know a great photographer but we will wait until Maddie gets here & do the newborn pics, 1st birthday pics, & a family pic all in one session.

It's a cute idea, but not something we can afford. I hope anyone who does shares some of them on the board.

I had them done with my youngest, and loved them, so I probably will again. I have a friend who is a professional photographer though, so I get a deal.
