I was told to fast for one hour before the test and to eat high protein, low sugar/carbs that day.

I was given my drink and instructions at my March appt so I could do it at my April appt.

I was told something along the lines of eat a normal meal 2 hours before drinking the drink. Then drink the stuff within 5 - 10 minutes and don't eat, drink or chew gum after drinking the drink. Show up for the appt 15 minutes before my appointment time, but up to 20 minutes before the hour mark.

I ate a home made breakfast wrap around 10ish. Drank the drink and finished at 12:55. Showed up at the dr's around 1:20. They drew my blood at 2ish.

I didn't make any special efforts on my diet the days going up to the appt, though I intended to.

I passed, for what it's worth.

I was able to eat & drink before the test, just nothing high in carbs or sugars. But I wasn't allowed to drink anything after drinking the stuff.
I drank it an hour before my appointment, let the staff know and then when it was that time, i reminded them and they took my blood.

I was told that no news is good news.

Went pretty smoothly, I thought.

Nothing special for me, I was just told not to eat or drink while waiting the 1 hour for my blood draw. I had mine yesterday, I had a honey bun and cup of milk 2 hours before the appointment, and water before drinking the drink.

I have to fast for 12 hours and mine will be first thing in the morning. I am doing a 2 hour test though. My doc said they do a 2 hour test now instead of a 1 hour and then a 3 hour. This will be the only test I have to do even if I fail.

I passed the 1 hour with both my pregnancies, so I am not worried about the 2 hour this time around, but I guess every pregnancy is different, so we'll see!
