Just had this conversation with DH over the weekend!
I get one year off. Ideally, as I'm preparing to return to work we will start TTCing. That's what I was hoping for and it turns out DH is on board If I go back 3 months pregnant, that will be ok too. But preferably no further along than that, as it would affect my mat leave pay for the 2nd one.

I am not going back on birth control after this one - so whenever it happens it happens.

Seeing as though it took 3 years to get this little booger I think I will start trying about 8-10 months after? It all depends how I heal and feel after the birth of our first.... I do want them close to age though... Play buddies...

Troy was very adamant that we were done after this one, until the last couple of weeks, I was never sure. Now he's taken on a more "wait and see" approach, which is great! If we do have another though, we won't start TTC for at least 18 months after this babe arrives.

I am not sure we will have another, we're still conversing about it. If we did have another one, I think I would want to have the baby about 2 years or so after this one. My kids so far are two years apart, and I've loved that spacing.

Probably a year or two, depending on finances.

We haven't really decided yet. We're still weighing the pros and cons of having kids closer in age or farther apart...I guess we should probably figure this thing out, haha!

Probably no more than a year, if I convince hubby for one more. It took so long for us to get pregnant with Molly that I don't want to wait too long.

We're still debating on #3, but if we do, we want our kids to be spaced 2 years apart. So we'll have until next summer to decide

Us too. It took us 6 years the first time and a big ol surprise the second time. My girls are 13 months apart. I love it though, it's been great having them so close in age.

It took over 4 years to get pregnant with our 2nd boy, I was on birth control for the first year or two, but stopped soon after because we wanted another baby. It took a long time to get pregnant.
It took 9 months of trying this time to get pregnant, but I was using ovulation tests, temping, and a ferning kit.
I plan on not starting birth control after having this baby, and hope to be pregnant by the time he is 1 year old. I know that's crazy though

I want 3 kids and would like them spaced somewhat evenly. DS and baby girl will be about 2 years & 4 months apart so we'll see if i'm ready to start TTC again once she is 18 mos or so.

It took us 6 years to get pregnant with Ella, so we are going to start trying when she's about 6 months old. We are afraid that it will take just as long to get pregnant with another that we don't want to wait to long.

I'm not sure I want another one, but I'm not sure I don't. We will probably not use any bc & just see what happens. It took 5 yrs of trying to get pg with #1, 4yrs for #2 and were ntnp for #3 & she came 19mo after #2. With this one it has been 5yrs of ntnp to get pg. Given I have PCOS & I will be 35 and dh 43 when this one is born, the chances of getting pg are even lower.
