lol...as oppose to just someone who ate too many doughnuts lately.
I took my son to a birthday party today and the other mums haven't seen me in a while as I've been working and therefore not taking Daniel to and from school. It's not something I'd actually told them as I don't really speak to any one of them in particular on a regular basis. So today they were cooing over my bump and asking when I was due.
Then one of our neighbours came over and couldn't believe how big it was getting and telling me how beautiful it looked.
Lovely confidence boost for me! Anyone else getting this yet?
and yeah yeah I know - new belly pics are in order.
aww, that's wonderful! i get compliments about my belly sometimes...it's only been very recently that i started getting the ignorant ones. and it's pretty much been from the same person. lol.
Yes, I'm definitely getting this now. I'm to the point where no one even questions it anymore. I was at the market the other day, and the cashier just said, "When's the big day?" Today, I was at Whole Foods, and a woman was promoting a probiotic, and her eyes bugged out as she spotted my belly and she said, "Oh, I'm sure you're taking a probiotic."
I still don't think I look definitely pregnant unless I wear certain shirts that accent the bump. So nice to get some positive comments though. I bet you look great!!

As far as me, only people who know I'm pregnant have said anything. A woman at work said in shock the other day "He's grown!" And today some friends told me that they can definitely tell that I'm "all baby belly" which is nice considering I'm a plus size girl. (their comment meant I'd done well with my weight. I haven't gained anything back in my face or anything)
But people who don't know I'm pregnant probably just think I'm fat. :-p Oh well. I know I'm pregnant and the people I care about and love know I'm pregnant and that belly is full of a cute little baby boy. LOL
I look pregnant for sure - at least from the front. My backside is a whole other story.
I've had some nice things said to me the other day, the pharmacist told me congrats when I asked about some heartburn meds and the checker had some nice words for me too.
You'll ALL be in the deffo pregnant stage really soon ladies. And you'll be able to enjoy it for the last few months then without worrying what you look like.
Aww! I still haven't been getting many comments from people that I don't know well because I'm still kind of in the "is she fat or is she pregnant?" stage most days
I'm a little shy when it comes to that, so I don't really like the pregnancy comments and stares. Feels like I'm on display. They've just started so I've got to suck it up for the next 12 weeks or so. I do love the comments from my current and former students though. Many of them have no edit button. One kindergartener walked up to me on Friday and said "are you pregnant 'cause your tummy is really big." Another student scolded him for asking, and then said "but are you?" Hilarious!
Awww. Glad you're getting the nice comments and admiration. It's always nice to hear a compliment when you can no longer see your own feet.
Exactly! I haven't really gotten any comments from anyone but we don't really get that alot around here. Even when I was thin and pregnant with my son, so one ever said anything.
