I didn't really use one with my first. I kept stuff in the car and if we were fonna be gone all day I'd just throw some things in a backpack. Since I nursed and Lily never spit up, we didn't really need much.
This time I got a go gaga slide bag. One of my friends had one and raved about it and I really liked it when I saw it, so DH got me one for Christmas. Hopefully I'll like it when baby comes since I'm not really a big ole diaper bag kinda gal.

I had a really awesome looking one with DS that my Mum made for me but truth be told, I hate hauling stuff around. As he got older, I just started carrying what I need for a bum change or two in my purse. Unfortunately, I like small purses and I think having stuff for a newborn (especially if DS is still in diapers) is pushing the limits of the seams - I have just enough room for everything now. I`m going to make a clutch that rolls up with everything I need and just straps onto my purse strap

This is me too. I've never needed much, just a few extra diapers, wipes and a change of clothes. I very rarely carried the diaper bag in with me, always left it in the car. I just got a bigger cloth bag/purse to keep it all in (since I don't even usually carry one of those either).

I plan on getting myself one that is light enough but big enough to double as baby bag and handbag. Haven't chosen yet.

I will probably end up sewing mine, or getting a good backpack. I can't seem to find a diaper bag that I love in the stores or online (without spending hundreds for a custom!)

I bought a JJ Cole one that I l o v e. It looks more like a purse since it will be replacing that for me. Heck if I'm carrying two bags around!

Oh my gosh I've been carrying a diaper bag around for five long years and I'm so over it. I got a really cute one for my baby shower that had my son's name personalized on it. At some point we had soooooo much crap that we had to drag around after I had my daughter I switched to the giant book bag I used in college. After she got a bit older I bought a really cute green and brown SMALL diaper bag and was so excited about it but once again we started hauling way too much stuff and it couldn't hold it all so back to the personalized bag. So I'm guessing I'll still be hauling that stupid thing around for my kids plus the green and brown one for the baby. Sigh.

I registered for one... so hopefully I get it at the baby shower I plan on nursing and will probably just need it for diapers and a change of clothes depending on our outings, but I can see myself using it often.

We added this one to our registry, so DH can carry it as well and not feel like a lady. It's a "Diaper Dude" bag. It also matches (color-wise) the stroller/car seat combo we picked out.

Adrienne, I love your bag! Thank God mine is what that David can carry too. Our bag is okay. I'm not too crazy about the solid gray on ours but our stroller and car seat are both gorgeous.

Scott told me he is doing the same thing lol
I really wanted a diaper bag I could use as my purse too so a family member bought me this not so secretively and is going to give it to me at my shower. I LOVEEEEE IT!!! It was my "dream" diaper bag.

I have the matching PNP and swing to this diaper bag!
I still want a Coach one....if I can get someone to go on the almost 2 hr drive to Niagara with me next weekend, I may go get it. Otherwise I'll just pick one up at BRU.

I think so. I have a green laptop bag that's pretty bright that I don't wear much because it is bright - but the brightness will probably be good when we are out and about.
What I really need to remember to buy is one of those wet bags for the used cloth diapers.

My purse is the size of most peoples wallets, so even though I bf, I need something else. I use a black messenger bag
