Emma has been in/out of hospital for the last few days. Her waters were leaking Friday night and they sent her home without even testing the fluid.
She saw her doctor a few days ago who sent her back to the hospital to be monitored as he believed it was in fact her waters and put her on antibiotics as a precautionary.
She was sent home yesterday afternoon/last night.
She woke early this morning soaking wet... she also soaked a few pads and a towel.
She went back to the hospital and was given a steroid injection. She has just been airlifted to another hospital as she lives in a rural town.
I will keep you all updated.
PLease keep Emma and her baby in your thoughts.

Hi Guys,
Here is the first update:
She just had an ultrasound baby weighs 4lbs was 3lb 9oz two days ago and her fluids were 5. Baby is transverse with feet and hands in her cervix. Her cervix is 3.5 was 6ish 2 days ago however it is still closed.
They are waiting for blood results to come back, if there is any sign of infection baby will be born immediately. If bloods are fine she will be closely monitored at the first sign of distress baby will be born.
Keep those positive thoughts coming!

Latest update Monday 4th June
Good morning ladies!!!
I have a FANTASTIC update:
She is off iv antibiotics, and has started the oral. Bloods will be done every two days instead of every day. Fetal monitoring will still be done every day.
As long as she doesn't go into labour, baby doesn't get distressed and the infections stay away, she could keep on baking this little one for a while longer!!!
If all still looks good in 2 weeks and if there is a bed available she can be transferred to a hospital closer to her home, still a few hours away but closer than the 5 hours she is now!

Oh crap. Baby Dramatic, you are becoming a pain in the butt. Lots and lots of thoughts and love her way. We're due the same day. It's not supposed to be like this.
Oh no I thought she was out of the woods. Thank you for updating us. Sending tons of positive thoughts and prayers to Emma and the baby.
