I have had a couple of PMs from concerned buyers who have already sent their gift but not heard whether or not their shower buddies received it.

There is no deadline on when you have to post about your gift in The Owl Post subforum, BUT please do post a quick thank you to your buyer in there as soon as possible after you get it so that nobody is worrying whether their gift has arrived or not - just common courtesy really.

Buyers, as long as you have PMd or emailed proof of postage (tracking number / scanned photo of postage certificate / etc) to me or Liz you don't need to worry unduly about this xxx

You can then edit the post later or make a new post for pictures and a description of what you got, whenever you get the time.

The deadline for sending gifts is this Saturday 23rd June. I know they haven't all gone yet (including mine ) so quick reminder about that too!

Oh.. that just reminded me whoever my buddy is, I'm not home right now (obviously) so Sharron could you please let me know, when my person sends my gift off so that I can let my Mum know to keep an eye out.

I have mine and will be sending mine off on Wednesday, its Sunday night here now.

I'll try hon but bear in mind I'm not around so much as the week goes on, Wednesday to Friday are usually manic...so I may miss it. It hasn't been shipped yet to my knowledge.

Emma's buyer, when you send yours if you can send a PM to both me and Liz about it, then there's a better chance of one of us catching it and giving Emma a heads-up? Would be much appreciated.

I have organised my gift this afternoon, but it hasn't shipped yet.

I do know what you mean, I wish I'd had more time right now to really look and look before deciding, but in the middle of working full-time and having stuff to do on weekends as well, it wasn't possible. I do love what I got though and I hope my buddy will love it too!

I'm mailing mine this week! I've had it for over a week, but need to get out of work on time to make it to the UPS store before they close. My plan is for Monday

I've gotten pm's re mailed gifts already, thank you ladies. I did give Sharron my new addy so that my gift goes to the right place. I'll still be getting mail at my old address for a bit so it's that huge of a deal. But still better safe than sorry.

For those in the U.S. that already mailed their gifts, what method of shipping did you use that has tracking: UPS, FedEx, US postal service or something else? It looks like I'm going to have to spend more on shipping than I did on the gifts at this rate.

Unrelated, but I think shipping prices are pretty high across the board, unfortunately. I returned a duplicate snuzzler that cost $13 with free shipping to me, I paid $6 to ship it back and they took $5 off to cover their original shipping expenses. Count the $2.95 I spent on a box and I paid to return the item so they could resell it. Stupid. Had I known it was going to pan out that way, I would have donated it or tried to sell it myself.

Personally, I used Priority mail USPS and it was only around $7 including delivery confirmation.
