Despite tropical storm conditions, my first bridal shower went smoothly. My mom's 3 friends threw it for me in my mom's friends' amazing house. Almost all my friends and local family were there as well as old family friends and neighbors and I got so many amazing things. Baby Emily is so lucky to have so many people that love and care for her.

Looks like a great time. I love that stuffed chair! I want the hippo one. It totally doesn't match anything, but it's so darn cute. Emily will love it.

Looks like it was a blast. I'm glad it was fun and I love the chair. I wish I had room for things like that in the nursery. I might just buy something and put it in the living room anyways And you look great!

Thanks! The dress actually came from Target. I've gotten several cute maternity dresses there including the one I'm wearing to my other shower this Saturday. I'm glad I ignored my mom when she wanted to go on a mission to find a really nice expensive shower dress, knowing that I would probably only wear it once.

Yeah we actually don't have a lot of room for it in the nursery as it's pretty small. We'll probably keep it in her closet for a little while until she can actually sit in it, then move it to the living room.
