I'm still surprised its so narrow! I definitely would not have guessed that at all!
We're looking for a new vehicle (DH has a durango....we had to brake sharply a few weeks ago....and the back seat popped forward! No way am I putting a child in there!), so note to self...do not let DH get an H3.

I don't know much about hummers. I guess it's sort of like a jeep? A hoss of a vehicle with very little seating?

That's what she said! Sorry, I couldn't resist.
I'm so proud of myself. I managed to get some laundry done, including remembering to wash my wrap, and did the dishes before I got worn out and sore. Now if I could just get up the energy to dust...

I didn't really get the nesting urge with DD1 - And it's been hit and miss this time around. I don't think DH will ever get it himself xD
Ugh - Slept horribly last night. Woke every hour for the first 3-4 hours. DH is off the next two days. . . He switches to nights so he didn't go to sleep when he got home. He's fighting the urge to sleep now, as I figured he'll be doing all day. I made us some coffee so hopefully that'll help. When Em and I got downstairs and saw him, she was SO excited! She went running to him shouting "Daddy!!!" So sweet.
He said he's going to put the hutch on Adalyns dresser today - Yay!!!

I'm sorry you didn't get much sleep, hopefully tonight will be better!
Got my haircut, much overdue! Excuse the huge sunglasses and I didn't have it styled, but here it is
ETA- I just realized that my sunglasses look like they're lop-sided. Weird.

 Missa!
Love your hair Chantelle!
I'm so tired and unmotivated. Thank God we have left over bbq from last night we can eat for supper. I only need to make something to go with it.
Anyone want a four year old with a wicked attitude? I've got one for cheap.

Maybe we could sell your attitude filled 4 yr old and mine as a package deal?
Made a lasagna casserole tonight, and made an extra for the freezer. Did the same thing last night with a broccoli and rice casserole, so now I have two suppers in the freezer for after Hannah arrives

I have a hubby who cooks so thank god that is one less thing I have to worry about.
Your hair looks great, Chantelle! I envy people with straight hair. I have what can only be described as a bush on my head. I was called Medusa in high school. Teenagers suck.

I too envy people with straight hair. Mine is normally half messy curls (like anything above my ears) and half straight (all underneath)...It looks like I wanted to curl my hair and missed big chunks. However since being pregnant, the curly part doesn't really curl anymore....its just a wavy pile of fuzz. great.

I interrupt this program to bring you an excerpt from my life....
Adain (3): "Roaaaaaaaaaaaar. Roaar. ROAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!"
Nevaeh (8): "AIDAN STOP!"
Aidan: "Roar! Roar! Roar! Roaaaaaaaaaaaar! ROOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!"
Nevaeh: Sqeals, "AIIIIIIIIIDDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAN! STOP!"
Aidan: "Roar. Roar. Roaaaaaaaaaar. ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR! ROOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Aidan thinks he is a dinosaur.
Nevaeh: "MOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMYYYYYYYYYYY! AIDAN WON'T STOP ROARING AT ME!"
Aidan: "ROAR! ROAAAAAAAAAAAR! NOW I'M GOING TO BITE YOU AND EAT YOUR FOOD IN YOUR BELLY!"
Me: Sitting on the couch facebooking....
Nevaeh: "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMYYYYY YYYY!!!!!!!!!!!"
Me: Slowly gets up to make sure my three year old is not eating my 7 year old.

Reminds me of my family when I was younger....my brother 4 years younger than me was a terror. My mom took it all in stride as well.

Mine is naturally curly too but I blow it out straight during the week for work. On the weekends I go "natural" and look like Shirley Temple.
My treat for the last two weeks of this pregnancy since I'm working up to the dang day of surgery is to have my hair blown out straight at a place in Atlanta that only does blowouts. I had one done today, and will do it every Thursday and Monday until I have this stinking baby. It is too hot outside to be drying my own hair! ha!

Trade you for a 2 year old with a wicked attitude??
Ugh. I need to figure out dinner. It's 2:15 here. Thankfully DH doesn't have to work, so we can do dinner later but I haven't even taken anything out!
DD and I went to the craft store this morning after sending daddy to bed for a nap (I have a flippin' real life zombie walking around my house today, yo). I saw this on Pintrest last night and decided to do it for Adalyn's room: Items similar to Wall Letters, Framed Monogram, Dwell Studio Owl Sky, Painted Letters, Personalized, Monogram, Upholstered Letters, Custom Lettering on Etsy
Except I am painting the canvas'. I had to go out for more paint, more canvas' and to find the letters. Stupid Hawaii. . . Drove all around town to find letters big enough. The craft store off base only had small ones, on base only had small but thicker ones. . . I was going to go to Wal-Mart but hit up BRU since it was on the way and I knew it'd be less crazy. . . Found bigger ones there. Marked for $8 a pop though!!!! I went ahead and got them and they rang up for like $5.50. Still pricy for wooden letters (though they ARE nicer ones), but I really didn't want to go into Wal-Mart. . .
While walking around BRU, Emmersyn heard a baby crying and said "Oh no, baby sad." And then she tells me a little while later "I want my baby mommah." I was just kind of doing my thing when she says it again and points to my belly. D'awww. I told her she will be here in a few more weeks!

Oh my goodness Allyssa! That pulls on the heart strings! I think I would have popped my baby out right then and there for that amount of cuteness!!!!
I posted pictures from yesterday's birth on facebook for anyone who wants to see them. I got some awesome crowning shots too, but out of respect for Mama, did not post them. https://www.facebook.com/JessiqueBrownDoulaServices

LOL Que... you have the best kids ever! I'd pay to watch your reality show. Think about it...that stuff really sells on TV
Love the hair cut, Chantelle.
Sitting at home...waiting for DH to get back with the groceries. I have now gotten too far along for him to take me with him and he worries I'll go into labor any time now since I have contractions on and off, so home I sit and wait. As he walked out the door, I apologized for not being able to go any more and he smiled and said, "You held out for a long time, baby cakes! It was a good run..37 weeks is longer than I thought you'd make it doing the shopping." So I feel better knowing I did last longer than I thought I might. I figured by week 30 I'd be ready to stay home for the shopping

Such amazing pictures!! Just beautiful!
So sweet, Allyssa!
It's awesome that your DH is so understanding, Tina!
Speaking of pulling my heart strings, today we were talking about what the kids wanted to be when they grew up. Alyssa (4.5) said a ballerina, Rylan (3.5) said he wanted to be "a daddy like my daddy" Seriously, made me cry

Right Que? We'll see what she thinks once "her baby" is here, though
Wings & fries for dinner - Because I don't think anything will defrost fast enough & the wings can go in frozen. Easy peasy, and DH might make them since he's the frying king

I can't watch anything without crying these days. I watched Secret Millionaire and I cried each time they gave money to someone and they cried. I just can't seem to watch even a commercial with a puppy anymore lol.

I have some days like that, but thankfully it's not every day like it was with Sophia!
Finally got her to sleep, now I need to head there too, but I don't really feel tired
