My belly is itching again sooooooo badly I can hardly stand it. After trying everything I had at home I stopped and got some Gold Bond anti itch lotion and so far it seems to be helping a bit. Thank God, because I'm about to lose my mind!

This was what my belly looked like this morning after my shower.

I had a growth US and an appointment with the Dr on Tuesday. Everything looks good with Sarah, she is still measuring a week ahead but is very healthy. I do, however, have excess fluid (Polyhydramnios). The tech said it was on the high side of normal. The Dr wasn't too concerned but now wants me to do weekly U/S to make sure it doesn't become a problem.

The Dr was awesome about all of my requests and actually thanked me for bringing in my birth plan. He agreed to the 27th as my c-section date, which I was expecting to be at least a passionate discussion but was completely cool with going with our original date. He also said I can go home as soon as I feel up to it an wont make me stay any longer than need be. I have to be able to walk, eat and pee and I'm good to go.

We finally got some good pics of Sarah's face this time too!

Oh my goodness! Is that PUPPP? It looks miserable, I'm sorry. Glad you had a good appt though and the doc isn't worried about the fluid thing.

I had the nurse look at it about a month ago and she said it wasn't PUPPP just a random pregnancy rash so there isn't much I can do about it. It had gone away but now all of a sudden it's back - with a vengeance. It IS totally miserable and the more I scratch, the more it itches.

Ooh - that does look itchy! Do you take anti-histamines as well?

I don't usually because I don't like how they make me feel and knock me out but... it might be worth it if nothing else helps.

I take Novo-phenirame (AKA chlor-tripolon, chlorphenirame)

It's safe during pregnancy and non-drowsy.

Here in Canada they keep it behind the counter but you just have to ask for it. It's like $10 for 100 capsules.

I second the chlortripolon....other than Benadryl, its the ONLY thing that ever works for me from an allergy perspective (swelling, itchy, etc.)....it just can be hard to find.

I hope you find something that gives you relief, that looks so painful.

Sarah looks beautiful though

I caked it with baking soda paste yesterday and made myself not scratch it and it's much better so far today. Thank the good lord!
