Hi. I just want to let you guys know we are fine. Baby only needs to learn how to eat before she gets to go home (great for being only 32 weeks). When I asked they told me probably 3 more weeks. that is the sad part. I am having a real hard time leaving my baby there everyday. I go to see her and hold her everyday and I am happy and calm when we are together but when its time to go home I just get so sad (although I don't cry) and it takes me a while to get going from there.
I haven't had much time between cleaning the mess that was my house after 3 weeks of hospital bed rest, trying to pump every 3 hours (it takes me like 45 min. every time), giving some time to my son, and going to the hospital (which is almost an hour away)...I am exhausted...at night. So forgive me for not showing or updating my tickers...I am overwhelmed with things to do while my head and heart is almost an hour away.
That is all for now and thank you for reading. I have read some posts today while pumping but now got to go to town to change the time belt.
Aloha from Hawaii, Elise and baby Aurora.
Aw, Elise. I'm glad she's doing well, but sorry she still needs to stay at the hospital for a while longer. I know it's hard on you hon. Hang in there. You're doing amazing, really. Just make sure you get some rest too. She'll be home before you know it.
Don't worry about not being online much, you have more important things to do and we all understand. I wish i could help you out, I'd come clean for you in a heart beat
I am on Oahu, I live over by Pearl Harbor, if you need help or ANYTHING, please let me know!!! I have a car for the rest of this month, but after that I'll only have it during the day every few weeks as we're normally a 1 car family. But please let me know if you need anything.
You are a warrior, Elsie! I am so glad Aurora is doing so well and I hope these next few weeks fly by for you both. Hang in there and don't forget to take care of yourself too.
I hope the next three weeks fly by. Don't worry about being online and/or updating your tickers. Take car of yourself and that little one, that's what matters most.

I hope Aurora will be home with you sooner than 3 weeks. Hang in there, mama, and don't worry about checking in on us. We'll still be here when things settle down for you.
Don't dwell on time or days, trust me it helps. When my last baby was born at 36w I expected she'd be home within days and she ended up being in there for 14 days. So with Harper I had the mindset that she wasn't due until the end of July therefore I wouldn't expect her home before that but if she did, it would be a bonus. Trust me this helped, and I took things a day at a time. One day I was told not to expect her home for a few more weeks and the next she took a turn with her sucking and was home within days! Chin up, Aurora is an amazing, strong little girl (as all these little preemies are) and so are you I hope times goes by quickly and you have your little girl home where she belongs. Know you can message me anytime if you need to talk x
