Ugh I am so angry!
The baby dropped or something because literally NOTHING fits me!!!
Nothing besides gym shorts!
I was never able to afford maternity clothes and now I definitely can't afford to go out and buy new clothes now!!!
I'm so angry! Only 2 pairs of pants fit and one pair is my work pants and everything else is useless!!!
My stupid hallway is destroyed. I'm a mess sitting I'm my underwear sobbing my eyes out because it's about 85 degrees here and it looks like I'm either going to be naked or in tacky gym shorts!!!
And that's what I will be wearing for the remainder of this pregnancy! Hope nothing fancy comes up cause I'll be the beached whale showing up in gym clothes!!!
Ugh I could just scream!!!

Go out and get a few light weight, cute summer dresses.

Ummm, that's all I've been wearing for months aside from my 2 pairs of maternity shorts I bought for "special occasions". I use that term lightly since I'd rather wear comfy clothes than confining maternity clothes ANY day.

I feel as if you need to be prescribed some anti anxiety pills lately, lol. Don't let such little things get to ya!

I put on a pair of maternity pants this morning that have the low elastic band rather than the big nice stretchy tummy... they gave me belly cramp in a minute, they don't fit me anymore! my clothing choices are narrowing too... and I agree, you should nip out and get some simple, summery dresses... you have a beautiful figure for it! me, I'm overweight anyway and I've gained close to 50lb this pregnancy so I promise, you in gym shorts is nothing close to me in... literally anything!
consignment sales and eBay are great places to get bargain maternity wear.
take a cool shower, and go shopping Xxxxxx almost there lovely, don't break down yet!

I've grown out of almost all my bottoms too except for one pair of shorts and two pairs of pants and who wants to wear pants in 90+ degree weather? Not I. I'm going to be hitting up the thrift store soon in search of skirts. I just have about 3 weeks left so I'm not going to worry about it too much. I suggest you do the same. Thrift stores are awesome. Yard sales too. There was a lady selling nursing shirts at a yard sale we hit yesterday. You never know what you'll find.

I was going to suggest summer dresses too you can still wear them for years to come! Don't let the small stuff getcha... we are all rapidly losing more and more of our wardrobe!!

Hang in there Maddie, I've been in tears a lot lately too. It's hard when you get to this point, you don't feel like yourself, you are probably bigger than you've ever been before, it's hot and it's hard to be comfortable. But soon you will have your body back and will miss this big ol belly.

I agree with the thrift shops and yard sales. I'm sure you can fond something cheap you can wear for a few more weeks.

I feel your pain... I went out and bought 2 dresses from Walmart. They're more like bathing suit cover ups but I've been wearing them as dresses. Super comfy, very affordable, and I can probably wear them after baby for a while as well Hang in there.... only a few more weeks!!

well, my maternity jeans are tight on me...i can still wear the one pair better than the other though because when i got them, they were actually a size bigger than they should've been. my tops are still fine, but i got cheap shorts from walmart that were bigger so that they would last longer, and a bunch of tank tops that stretch. i didn't spend a lot on any of it either.

You are skinny, so you should be able to find cheap maternity clothing/summer dresses at Walmart. Just be thankful you aren't plus sized because plus size maternity wear is about twice as much (and half the selection) as regular maternity wear...Check out garage sales, thrift stores, Walmart, Target...

I'm sorry, but I have to agree. You really need to try to calm down and relax a little. You're lucky to have made it this far and not needed to purchase/wear maternity clothes. This is hardly something to have a mental breakdown over. All this stress and anxiety isn't good for you or baby. And quite honestly, it could be a lot worse.

I can relate. I've cried over the same thing before. In my last pregnancy I went out to buy a shirt just to get me through the last few weeks, and aside from bigger t shirts, that's what I wore. I know how little things like this can feel like the weight of the world when other areas of life feel out of control. It won't solve everything, but maybe if you could find one shirt on sale or at goodwill, it would take some of the stress off of getting dressed. Try not to worry what you look like...who cares!

I agree. Calm down and remember we're all in the same boat, you're not alone hon. And who cares what you wear? We're PG! We get a free pass to wear anything we feel comfortable in. I was wearing sweats until it got too warm for it and now my maternity jeans don't fit as well as they did. But do try to shop the clearance areas in stores for larger sizes. I found some great tops that will do for covering me at Menards of all places, marked down just before July 4th, and they were $2 each! I know they'll be huge on me once I'm not PG but who cares? I like them big and I'll get my money's worth.

But if you're really stressed out about things, try talking to someone about it. You really do need a good release for your anxiety. You seem very stressed lately, please remember it's all worth it in the end when you hold that little baby in your arms

I know you have no money and you are overwhelmed.

As some others have said above if you take a few dollars you will find something at a thrift shop. If you don't have a few dollars ask around - people have stuff stored in their closets and would mostly likely be more than happy to give you some of their old mat clothes.

I know it's kind of stupid to cry over and I know it could be worse...
It's just I honestly haven't broken down and just released and I know it's really dumb but it was especially aggravating considering my shorts fit me yesterday!
I went out and bought 2 pairs of shorts and a bunch of tank tops as well as 2 sports bras. They were on sale. And I also bought Tuckr a little indie I found on sale for 3 dollars. It's a onside that makes his look like he's dressed like woody from toy story. It's rootin tootin cute.

**MOMMY2MYKIDDOS**
FYI I do have a job. A job I work very hard at. I pick up every extra hour I can. Im not in my parents hallway by choice, I'm here because it is what's best for me and my son at this moment. I am working very hard to get out. I put all my money into an account that doesn't go to paying bills and rent. I'm sorry that to you it's unacceptable for me to have a hormonal moment and be upset.
I don't regret it. I needed to vent and release and i did.
Please do me a grand favor and don't judge me so harshly especially when you have no idea exactly how hard it is walking in my shoes. Do other people have it worse? Sure. But am I also entitled to dealing with hard times and hormonal pregnant moments? Yes I am. I am young and I have made hard choices that have put me some where I really don't want to be, but it's what's best for my son.
I am not a child throwing a tantrum. I am a stressed out pregnant woman. And for you to talk to me the way you did is incredibly rude. I would never tell anyone having a bad day that they need to grow up and judge them the way you just did me. I don't appreciate your negativity. So I will tell you what my mother told me, if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say it at all. Thank you.

Yes. Pregnant women are hormonal and cry. But every.single.post. is oh so dramatic. Not trying to be rude, just honest. Being an adult is hard work. Being a parent is going to be ten times harder and way more stressful.

Wow I had no idea you ladies felt that way. I apologize. Didn't mean to be so dramatic and annoying. I'll refrain from venting here anymore.

At this point in the pregnancy, a lot of things don't fit. It's that awkward time where you don't want to buy anything but already don't feel comfortable. Just a suggestion, I have a friend who mentioned that the pregnancy care center here in town offers free maternity clothes and I believe baby stuff too. Might be worth checking out. I've even heard they have some nursing stuff.

I was just coming on here to add hit up friends. It's fun trading clothes with girlfriends. My SIL and I switch clothes back and forth all the time because we are never pregnant at the same time. So she has my skinny stuff and I have her maternity clothes and bigger stuff right now. We've been doing this for years. Plus whenever DH hits the thrift store for kid clothes he looks for t-shirts for me. But anyway, you said you went out and got some stuff so I hope you feel better. I've had breakdowns over this stuff before too so don't feel bad. Even when not pregnant. I think for you it was harder because you said you managed to get through so far with your normal clothes but at this point you're going to get bigger than you've ever been so it's good to be prepared.
