um so, I woke up suddenly, stood up and thought I was wetting myself, went to pee, but it wouldn't stop, and after a while I realized I wasn't peeing anymore and the water was pink! I called my hubs, who bless his heart got to bed at 2:30am tonight because his band had a late gig!! its definitely my waters... it is pinky yellow and I'm soaking another pad as I stand here in the dark kitchen rocking my hips!
worst part is, no pains yet! and I know where that'll lead if I don't get labor started!
so, I've sent Doug back to bed to try and sleep, I've phoned my mum in England (yay time difference) and now I'm going to go outside and pace a bit ill keep you posted!!

Yep, pace that garden girlie. You could also try red raspberry leaf tea if you could send DP out for some later - one of the hospital midwives recommended it to me for "getting things going" when the body is clearly gearing up for labour. You could also try nipple and/or clitoral stimulation if you have privacy. I hope your contractions start up soon! Be thinking of you and keep us updated!!
Well, no contractions to speak of just yet, just a bit of discomfort. I'm trying to putter around and do laundry etc, because i sooooo don't want to go into hospital without contractions. I want my VBAC dammit! i'm still leaking fluid, and um... i keep farting 0.o I'm scared because i had a baby shower on Saturday and ate a lot of yummy buffet food and cake!!! That's alllll gonna have to come out before this baby does
Give it time. You've got time. Don't let the water breaking freak you out. We've been trained to think that we must rush in as soon as that happens but we don't have to. And the less nurses hands you keep out of there the less chance of infection. My mom's water broke with me and she sat around for hours at my grandma's house until they convinced her to go in. She had a pretty quick and easy delivery too.
