I had another biophysical u/s today to check up on Madeline's asymmetrical IUGR. She passed all her tests (8/8 - Yay), but the umbilical flow is abnormal and elevated again (last week it was normal, week before abnormal). Also, I haven't had any weight gain in the past 2 weeks and my belly measurements are still the same from 2 weeks ago as well. (I'm up 13 lbs from my preconception weight).
On Monday's we just get the short version from the ultrasound....basically, the full report gets reviewed by a high risk u/s doc, then gets sent to my OB, then gets sent to my nurse...who passes the information onto me. It's about a 3-4 day process. Anyway, I go back for my usual Thursday NST and I hope we get the full report back with any recommendations. My OB has told me not to be alarmed - and once we see the full report we can go from there.
My next growth ultrasound is next Monday, so I definitely they'll think to wait to make a decision until then. My intuition is telling me she's coming next week or the following week (35-36 wks).
She's still super active, which is wonderful. Also, she was practicing breathing on her u/s today - which is also reassuring. And, she already has a full head of hair!
They told me not to worry as long as she's moving around....and thankfully she is one active baby!
Well, I know it's not exactly a flying report, but it sounds like she's still a healthy girl in there. Hopefully things will go well next week and they'll feel comfortable letting her stay as long as what's best for her.
Did they predict her weight for you? I don't believe much in those weight checks by u/s because they aren't very accurate really. Just curious what they are thinking.

Her last growth u/s measured at 3.5 lbs exactly (32weeks) so a little behind, but not too bad (although, like you said...not always accurate), but they're more concerned about her adndominal measurements which are only in the 8th percentile and lagging behind.
❤ Big Thanks to Vicki, trishosaurus, & Shortcake for the great siggies of my kids! ❤
