So I was having some really really bad cramping this morning and I called my docs office and they told me to go straight to L&D so there I went to find I have a severely bad UTI and I had no idea. So they hooked me up to IV antibiotics and fluids and told me my "mini contractions" would to away once the fluids hit and the antibiotics kicked in. Except about 20 minutes after my antibiotic was done my contractions got stronger and more regular. They decided to check me and I'm not dialated so they are monitoring me for another 2 hours and yet again my contractions got worse. They checked me again and still no change. And now I am severely cramping with intermittent contractions so the are going to check me at 8:15 and if there is still no change then they are sending me home :/
I am so miserable!!!!!
I'm sorry you are in so much pain but I'm glad the infection was a uti and not something worse. I hope you are feeling better soon and can bake that baby until he's fully cooked! Hang in there Maddie!!

How rough! Hope your weekend is a little easier. With my first, I would randomly contract back to back, and it was quite frustrating. Sounds like your body is gearing up. But it is frustrating not knowing what to expect. Hang in there!
Well, that would explain why you've been feeling so much pain Maddie - UTIs can be BAD. It may take a while for the antibiotics to kick in enough for the cramping to stop sweetie, but take heart in the fact that it will get better now that they've identified the problem and given you meds - and you're in the safest place while you're still getting the pains too. I hope they subside soon and you're able to go home and rest. Thinking of you xxx
