I got a text from Annaka at 1054pm Central time letting me know that she thinks she's in early labor. She was having contractions for about an hour that are around 4 minutes apart. She's been drinking water and took a shower and she's still contracting now (1215am), her back is hurting with the contractions. She's keeping me updated and will let me know when she heads in to the birth center.
I'm so excited for her. ELV's for Annaka

Thanks for updating. Contractions are getting stronger. Going to time for a little while and maybe try to nap.

Latest update, her contractions have become a bit irregular. "When I get up to use the bathroom they get very close together. When I lay down they slack off." (140am).

Was only in labor for like 8 hours? Had the baby within like 45 minutes of arriving at the birth center.

Congrats Annaka, he's adorable. Glad you were able to labor mostly at home and have a quick delivery.
