The short version: hour and a half of labor, pushed through one contraction and she was born
Longer version:
I got to the hospital at 11PM last night. The nurse checked me, I was still at a 2, she told me she thought I would go fast so we would hang out and put the cervadil in around 2AM. They put it in at 2:15 and removed it at 6:15, at 7:45 my dr came in and broke my water. Contractions started immediately and I was having to breathe through them. The nurse pushed a bag of saline though me in about 30 minutes and I was aloud to get the epidural at 8:15. They didnt Finish with the epidural until right before 9. The nurse laid me back to check me and said you are an 8. I was shocked since I had just been a 3 an hour earlier. She said oh no wait you are complete and started yelling for another nurse to call the dr. Things from there went quick. I felt the need to push right away. I had to breathe and fight the urge, until the dr arrived and everything was set up. As soon as he gave me the ok I pushed through one contraction (3 counts of 10) and she was born at 9:15. Only 90 minutes after my first contraction and being at 3 cm.
The whole thing was so insanely quick. MY husband had stepped out to check on the kids in the waiting room. My sister stayed with me and then when they said I was complete I sent her to get him. Neither of them made it back in time for her birth. It was just me, the ob, my nurse, and the pedi nurse they grabbed who was walking down the hall. I didnt tear or need stitches which was great because I did all three other times.

<3 We are all so in love with her. I am recovering amazingly well and feel great. My dr told me if she is cleared tomorrow he will let me go home a day early because I am doing great and I know what I am doing by this point. I am hoping we actually get to go home because this is just a crazy time of year for us!
