Do you ever wake up your baby because you're ready to take care of him/her??? Summer has been napping for about 2 hours and I just want her up. I want to nurse her and see those bright ole eyes!!!

Sometimes I wake him bc my boobs hurt. I like him to eat frequently during the day anyhow, because I like for him to sleep well at night.

Not really, if she's asleep and happy to not be held then I enjoy the break. I'll eat in peace, play with one of my other kids or do housework.

I was like that with DD. But now if he's sleeping I take the opportunity to have one on one time with DD. and if they both happen to be sleeping, I do something for myself!

I generally let him sleep, but I do find myself wanting to wake him if he's sleeping around 6pm. I like for him to be awake for at least a couple hours before our bed time (which is around 9pm on weeknights). That just ensures that he'll sleep for at least a couple of hours after we go to bed. It's selfish, but he doesn't seem to mind.

I find I want to do this a lot
Mostly I just scoop him up anyways and let him sleep on me. Especially when he gets these sad faces like he's about to cry in his sleep. It just breaks my heart so I pick him up and cuddle him.
But this boy doesn't mind being put down, I just mind putting him down most of the time!

i have only woken athena up one time. it was to eat and because i was told by the nicu nurses that if she doesn't wake up for a feeding within 4 hours then i need to wake her up for it. BIGGEST MISTAKE EVER!!! she screamed her head off, didn't eat much of anything and then she fought going back to sleep after that. she usually doesn't go much longer than 4 hours without eating so i'm letting her tell me when she's hungry.

There have been a few random times where I woke her up because my boobs were engorged and I needed her to nurse. . . But that's after a 2+ hour nap and has happened rarely.

I remember being like that with my first DS, I just wanted to hold him and gaze into those big baby blues
Now I'm just like 'sleep ****it!!!' so I can play with my toddler/do housework/cook dinner etc!! lol! Unless my boobs feel like they are going to explode, then I want Ben to wake up

No way. I can't imagine feeling like that at all. I love seeing her up and awake, but I am not going to wake her. She needs sleep.

If I need to go out for a couple of hours, I will wake her up so she doesn't wake up hungry just after I leave.
It's pretty painless I change her diaper which wakes her up and makes her mad lol but then I just pop her on the boob and she eats and goes back to sleep.

I will only wake up baby if we have to go some where. Otherwise sleeping baby = mami time.

I was waking her up to eat in the middle of the night cause my boobs hurt, she is already sleeping one 6-7 hour stretch. Now I just pump at that time.
I do wake her up to feed her if we need to go somewhere, I would hate for her to wakeup stuck in the back seat and be hungry!
