We finished up the nursery a while back, but I was adding just a couple of finishing touches. I'm bummed to be on bed rest these last two weeks because I really needed to finish clearing out the guest bedroom to make room in there for baby storage and have it ready for our mothers to visit. I guess it will have to wait until after Jackson is born. I'm just glad to be completely ready for his arrival.

This is totally pic overload, but I'm really happy with his nursery. It's my favorite room in the house.

A door knob hanger that I made up to match the room's decor. Yes, the "space" pun is intended.

View from the doorway

The crib, decals, and mobile

Crib monsters. Yes, I still have the warning stickers on the crib. I cannot get them off with my bare hands, so I'm going to have to take some soapy water and a mild scrubber to them. So annoying.

Close-up of the wall decals above his crib

Ceiling mobile

Print and accent decor on the wall behind his crib, to the right of the window.

View from the closet

Close-up of the chair, more monsters, the ottoman (which has a removable top for storage), nightstand with a basket of nursing goodies and What to Expect the First Year and a picture frame that includes slots for sonogram, newborn, and first-year pics (I'm just using sonogram pics in all three slots for now), a waste basket you can barely see, and a hamper where I'm keeping stuffed animals

Print and accent decor on the wall behind the chair, to the left of the window

This is about as crafty as I get, designing some mini blocks

The decor on the wall opposite the crib - long shelf with two sonogram pics and a wooden "imagine" accent, a rocket and star (they're actually bath squirters from a four-piece set), the blocks, a wind-up monster, and a magnetic board (I made the magnets match the colors of the blocks and mobile)

View from the window - Dresser, diaper pail, hamper, changing station, prints, clock, and over-the-door hook and diaper bag. I painted the drawer knobs on the dresser and the over-the-door hook to match the room's colors. I searched high and low for an orange changing pad cover and finally found one on Etsy (and a back-up gray one). I found a lot of stuff on Etsy (including the prints).

The clock above the door - I found this $30 clock on Amazon for $3. It had inserts for photos where each of the numbers would typically be. Instead, I cut out circles and stenciled numbers that matched the colors of the room.

The dresser, changing station, and closet. I couldn't resist the little orange onesie with the monster on it. My DH calls Jackson his little monster, so it's all very fitting.

Clothes (top dresser drawer) for newborn and 0-3 months

Clothes (middle dresser drawer) for 3-6 months

Clothes (bottom dresser drawer) for 6-9 months, as well as a few onesies for 9-12 months and a pair of shoes that come very close to matching a pair of daddy's

The closet - Stuffed animals on the top shelf (and some little alien wall decals that the shop sent as a bonus to the rocket/star decals), cube storage in the middle, hanging storage on each side, some books and toys in the cubes, storage baskets filled with baby goodies and necessities, and, yes, even a matching humidifier.

The turtle on the ottoman is a nightlight of sorts

The ceiling when the room is dark and the turtle nightlight is illuminated

I love the turtle. I have it on the blue setting, but you can actually choose blue, green, or amber. It turns off on its own after 45 minutes, too.

I bought it from Amazon, but I think you might be able to find it at some baby stores. It comes in a few different colors and I think even a couple different animals. Here's the link: Amazon.com: Cloud B Blue Twilight Turtle: Baby

You need to change your name to Martha Stewart! This room seriously should be featured in a magazine! You've done an awesome job on everything and I love (which I normally am not a fan of) the wall decals.

Man, I wish my closet was that organized, lol!! I guess yours has to be with not having a door to shut the ugly in like I'm doing! DH's aunt sent us TONS of decorations from Japan (yaaay cherry blossom overload!) that I don't have anywhere to put, so they're exploding out of her closet, but I feel too bad about throwing them out. So torn.

His room looks amazing though, you've done a great job!

Looks great! I love the turtle thing too. Good luck with the stickers. If they are paper-based you can let olive oil soak into them and they come off a lot easier.

I'm gonna try that. They are paper based. I got the edges off, but I gave up because it was way too tedious of a job just to scrape with my nails.

His closet is nice and tidy because our guest bedroom looks like a war zone. Sometime between when he's born and my mom comes out to visit, I have to find the time to clean it out. Either that, or I can just lounge on the bed while I yell out orders to William this weekend.

Wow great job Adrienne!! I love the coordinated look of everything. It really looks fantastic and I love the personal touches you added by making stuff like the clock! Awesome work.

I have that turtle on our amazon wishlist and soooooo hope we get it, desperately! It looks adorable and I love it even more now that I have seen what it makes the room look like when it's illuminated.

You did a great job!

Love the turtle as well...I have the same one...but as our room isn't as coordinated as yours it doesn't have quite the same effect...hopefully once we get bedding etc. (waiting to find out gender) it will somewhat approach the look of yours.

Adrienne, looking in the top drawer is like looking in my boy's dresser! I saw 2 outfits and a set of onesies that he also has! So funny! Great looking room you have there!
